@XbladeTeddy As an iPhone user I completely agree about the stupidity of the lightning cable - I've suffered for it! I respect and agree with yours or anyone's opinion about the Apple ecosystem or its dominance or its nonchalance to gaming. But if it does do VR, which leaks say is in advance development, then it will likely have an impact on VR - Apple is too big a player to not cause ripples or have some success.
@fr0sty I'm a big PSVR fan and I'm also a VR fan. People have brand allegiances and it can make them blind to facts. Apple is betting big on VR, it has a headset which is [currently] set to launch at the end of this year or h1 2023, this information is borne from two credible industry experts. It's not a little step it's a major step for the company into a new product category that will help expand the reach of VR.

PlayStation VR2? The name is a bit leftfield, a bit of a surprise. But I like it. I really wanna see this thing now.
I've played the Halo Infinite campaign over xCloud and overall I've found it to be a good experience. Sure there have been occasional glitches or resolution drops, and It's not the same as native 1080p, but it really does work and is fun to play I doubt casual gamers would notice.
Because of the convenience of being able to play big console games through a TV app without the need to buy a console, I do see cloud streaming services expanding the core gamer demog...

Police chases were part of the original design but were not included because of an inability to get the function working. This is quite shocking to me as this wasn't' a small team or low budget game, this was an ambitious undertaking with a triple-A budget made over several years. If the tech people couldn't get it working then surely the game director shouldn't leave police chases out but instead should hire more qualified tech people?

After buying Double Fine Microsoft was obliged to release the PlayStation version. It did, but it made sure it only released the top performing version on Xbox. This may have set a precedent where Microsoft will see the benefits in a two-tier system where it 'honours' the promise and releases on multiple platforms but the best version is released on Xbox with all the bonus content.
