@dumahim. Thanks for sharing, The problem with a game, any game, is that It is all a lot of elements that are put together to create a believable world, but when it is functionally broken then it spoils the illusion. I know a lot of people have had bad experiences, but like you enjoyed taking out the bad guys others have also enjoyed qualities.

@Ashunderfire86 I played the intro mission of GTA 3 DE and the world still feels more alive than 99% off open world games illustrat...

N4G fam, don't worry! Square Enix couldn't have picked a better person to write about a mixed-raced woman with a 'hip hop walk' than this guy: https://encrypted-tbn3.gsta... 😉

@thorstein You may be right on this. It's too early for me to judge the game on whether there are clumsy stereotypes, however this quote ...

As the new-gen version is being released in early 2022 surely this means the gameplay systems are now working? That's the impression I got from CD Projekt's recent statements but if there's going to be more improvements made then I can hang on another six months or so. The game promised so much and if as first-timer I get to experience something close to that then I will be happy to enter this highly ambitious world.

@Nyxus, I guess I've got it slightly less bad than you, for me it's 1am! I'm not sure I can hack the late ones anymore especially as this might go on for THREE hours! But I might try and catch the start.

There's nothing wrong with the public vote being a popularity contest as 4Sh0w said that's the point! It does seem premature for people to vote on a game that's single player campaign has been out for just a day so perhaps it would have been better to be a vote for specifically the Halo multiplayer as people have playing it for a month.

@CantThinkOfAUsername said "Yes. TLoU2 hate bandwagon voted for GoT out of spite."

The industry ...

I get what you mean but the problem is the multiplayer mode requires a big financial investment on the server backend to ensure the games can function for at least 3 years. And the publisher doesn’t believe there will be a big enough audience for a remaster’s multiplayer mode when there already is so much competition for players’ time from brand new multiplayer games.

@Hofstaderman said “what about people with no internet or bad internet?”

“Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity…”

I was confused when I first saw this ad as I thought it was for a new edition but couldn’t work out what was new! But yes, it’s intended for people hyped by the new Spider-Man movie and for the many new PS5 owners who get one for Christmas.

@PrinceAli it’s easy to play the tough guy to me on the internet and tell me to ‘STFU’! I wish, I WISH you would say that to my face!

It’s easy to act indignant because you are unable to discuss a subject with a person who doesn’t see things from your same privileged perspective.

I get that people want the perfect world, but what im saying is in reality is that businesses have to walk a tightrope, they have to be diplomatic. And it’s easy to be a privil...

Kotaku is upset because it wants every major website or industry personality to join them in criticising Activision and is trying to shame anybody who doesn’t fall into line.

Geoff Keighley had to be diplomatic here because if he criticises one company then it may make other companies cautious in participating in the Game Awards. Activision were present at last year’s event which helped him because it gave the show more credibility. If he turns around and PUBLICLY criticis...

@monkey602 It just goes to show what an ill-thought out move this is by Sony as so many people have responded to your comment and it has got a near-unanimous upvote - which for N4G is rare!

I know a lot of people are saying that the Godfall campaign isn't very good but I think it's better to include it and let the player decide.

@TheLeapist ‘ Just a demo of a mostly panned game. Absolutely terrible.’. Spot on. I know some people are saying the story content isn’t good so it’s better to play the endgame content but let subscribers have the choice by including the content.

I’m not traumatised by this month’s free games, I won’t cry. But I don’t want to see half versions of games becoming a thing.

@Deathdeliverer. Sony has been leading in this space using the Kraken technology with game files being significantly smaller.

As SNK is using a Greek letter for naming the special edition it should've opted for Omicron instead. For some reason that letter pops more.

These are incredible figures and is a testament to Nintendo's unique approach to publishing which it releases far fewer games than its competitors but they have a timeless quality so they keep selling years after release.

Sorry friend but your information is incorrect. The Switch Mario Kart bundle in the UK includes a digital copy of the game and not a boxed copy so sales of the bundle are not included in these figures.

@Christopher It's true Motorstorm Apocalypse didn't get as good review scores but it was a solid game. However what impacted sales was that its Western release was delayed and PR and promotion scaled back and its release was cancelled in Japan. This was due to the title and content (collapsing stuff) being regarded as insensitive following the death of nearly 20k people because of the huge earthquake and tsunami there in 2011.

Motorstorm was a fantastic game and controls that just feel so good. I played it a little bit last Christmas before I sold my last PS3 and it really held up well!

@solideagle The concern is not about Chinese people, it is about Chinese businesses that have to strongly comply with the wishes of the Chinese government or face severe penalties, both on the companies financially and their ability to operate and the individuals who could face imprisonment.

In practice this mean the freedom to create art is restricted in different ways; criticism of the Chinese government or people is not allowed as well as promotion of LGBTQ issues and pr...
