@1Victor Something don't add up...
First you say it's a Pokemon clone - nobody who's played it would call it that because collecting creatures is a comparison of the most basic level and doesn't reflect the actual gameplay whereby the collection is a means to an end.
Then you say you 'love playing it on my PSVR' implying much time or at least multiple sessions playing it. But then you contradict yourself again and say 'this I p...
Yes you collect creatures, but I would say it's more like Portal in that you have to solve puzzles.
Never say that at a beauty pageant.
It absolutely makes sense to offer it on Xbox especially as it now offers mouse and keyboard support for those who want it.
Thank you @Skywalker333 for the explanation, that makes things a lot clearer. I now know that when it comes to Japanese publishers - anything is possible.
@CptDville. 👍🏼
It's okay to love the service and value that Game Pass offers you! But this last couple of weeks has seen a proliferation of articles written with the sole purpose of being cheerleading sales pitches on behalf of Microsoft.
Nintendo produces games that not only are big sellers but are EVERGREEN sellers. So titles like Mario Kart 8 (2017) sold at launch and continue to sell without any significant discount five years later - its game selling business is PROFITABLE. Sony ...
At the time of me typing this comment, this news story by Wccftech sits under the most read story which is also about PlayStation Plus and Game Pass, which reports that in its present form PS Plus has more than double the subscribers of Game Pass. So once PS Plus is relaunched there is the potential for it to grow further.
A quote from the analyst on the new PS Plus "The move is more about playing catch up with Game Pass, rather than about driving innovation in the mar...
People say Microsoft, a US firm, cannot buy Japanese video game publishers because of government rules barring foreign purchasers buying them, but now Saudi Arabian organisations have bought most of SNK. I'm not familiar with Japanese business law but doesn't this mean that Microsoft is free to buy any Japanese company it wants?
Including Sega, Bandai-Namco, Capcom, Koei-Tecmo, Konami and Square-Enix?
I'm not here to say anything negative about Halo Infinite because I've only briefly played the multiplayer so can't make a fair judgement on the experience. But what I think it underlines is that making multiplayer games is difficult because of the sustained support required. Sony trying to establish itself with online games made from scratch would face an uphill battle with no guarantees of success, so its purchase of Bungie now makes sense in that it helps accelerate production ...
Magical news!
Next gen Paper Boy, but with hideous synth music.
Keighley won't be shedding no tears over this that's for sure.
I think Microsoft will hold its press conference during the traditional June E3 week. There is a public expectation for SOMETHING and when Microsoft has turned up it has been rewarded with the gaming world's attention.
Sony announced its new PlayStation Plus services in a blog post. Because there wasn't any razzmatazz websites have been quick to describe it as inferior to Game Pass or condemn it - by doing this they are all being premature in their judgement. The first month subscription numbers will be able to give a far stronger indication on whether PlayStation owners want this service.
No first party games at launch means many video games websites see the new PlayStation Plus as i...
@ABizzel1 I came to say exactly the same thing. 😄
Switch 2 releasing Spring 2023 - let's go!
@chrisco84au For countries that don't have cloud streaming PlayStation will offer a reduced variation of PS Plus Premium tier called PlayStation Plus Deluxe.
"PlayStation Plus Deluxe (Select Markets) For markets without cloud streaming, PlayStation Plus Deluxe will be offered at a lower price compared to Premium, and includes a catalog of beloved classic games from the original PlayStation, PS2 and PSP generations to download and play, along with time-limited game ...
PS Plus Extra will have some older triple-A first party and third party titles like 'Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11, and Returnal'.
Miles Morales will be on the service 19 months after its first release so perhaps this gives an indication of the window that Sony's first-party games will turn up on it.
Any individual absolutely has the right to like or dislike an upcoming game for social-political reasons or any cause you feel strongly about - but any outlet that calls itself professional has to behave in a professional manner. I have worked at large media outlets in the UK that cover every controversial world topic, as individuals you may disagree with some coverage, as professionals you do your job you can't refuse to cover something because of your personal feelings.
That's good. I think I might play a bit this evening!
Sony has a RPG-making gap in it's studio lineup - it would do well to consider buying Aspyr.
