EA Sports FC will retain all the licenses for players, clubs and stadiums so nothing will be missing but the FIFA branding. EA says the move means it 'will bring fresh opportunity – to innovate, create and evolve.' So I wonder what it wants to introduce that Fifa doesn't allow.
Why would the music be replaced? I know the original compositions were based on some of Michael Jackson’s songs but the final music was owned by Sega wasn’t it?
This looks and sounds lovely - I have my fingers crossed that it delivers on the promise but I'm optimistic.
So no Game Pass subscription needed? It works straight from the cloud via a web browser. It's a clever use of tech to circumvent the Fortnite ban and a bold thumbing their nose from Microsoft and Epic to Apple's tight grip on the App Store. It won't like it but I don't think there's anything it can do about it. It will also mean that all the iOS players will be using Xbox logins - the golden goose for Microsoft.
It will also serve as a proof of concept o...
This should be released on consoles.
if/when the Activision Blizzard deal gos approved I see Crystal Dynamics and the Tomb Raider IP being a natural target for Microsoft ad the studio is currently building the Perfect Dark game and MS had paid for timed Tomb Raider exclusivity. I’m not saying I want it to happen, just that it’s a real possibility.
@darthv72 Don't hold your breath for Everwild, it's currently in development hell having had a project lead change and a reboot.

This will be Todd Howard's big coming out moment for Starfield. He'll give likely give a great presentation as he's been waiting a long time to talk about his passion project and it's definitely my most anticipated game of the year.
It's now been long enough to see some Fable gameplay. As for the rest, I want to see a focus on gameplay.
@RedDevils - You have a DECADE of subs!🤣 I thought I was extra because of two offers I took up so I have until Autumn next year. Well it means you’re protected from all possible service and inflation price rises. Clever git! 👍🏼
EA giving away Fifa Football 22 is a pretty big deal. Is it concerned that Konami's free eFootball game to begin to grow a user base?
@BoneMagnus In the USA citizens don't pay privately for police forces and the fire services as it is paid with taxes but that doesn't make it a socialist country. In the UK and most other European countries (to one degree or another) medical care is also paid with taxes.
It is paid for with both sales tax (VAT) and another lesser tax. So more is taken from a person as they earn it but it also means they don't have to pay monthly medical insurance or pay huge med...
I'm actually looking forward to this!
Amy Hennig is an accomplished creator and the director of the fantastic Uncharted games. EA made a big mistake in shutting down her 'ragtag' Star Wars game; it lost out on profits and the public missed out what had the potential to be a great game. I'm glad Hennig's got another chance as she brings an experience and understanding of gameplay and story and I'm already looking forward to it.
Respect.
I know Microsoft make the adaptive controller but it's always good to have other options and perhaps this could work as a proof of concept for the other console manufacturers.
Sony has a RPG-making gap in it's studio lineup - it would do well to consider buying Aspyr.
@1Victor Something don't add up...
First you say it's a Pokemon clone - nobody who's played it would call it that because collecting creatures is a comparison of the most basic level and doesn't reflect the actual gameplay whereby the collection is a means to an end.
Then you say you 'love playing it on my PSVR' implying much time or at least multiple sessions playing it. But then you contradict yourself again and say 'this I p...
Yes you collect creatures, but I would say it's more like Portal in that you have to solve puzzles.
Never say that at a beauty pageant.
It absolutely makes sense to offer it on Xbox especially as it now offers mouse and keyboard support for those who want it.
@porkChop & @TheColbertinator. As we're discussing which business is the most unscrupulous there is a clear distinction; EA's criticism comes from not delivering on the quality of its games and microtransactions, whilst Fifa allegedly has/had executives who were corrupt and received bribes to influence their decision on where to host the World Cup and other financial mismanagement and now face criminal charges.
In hardcore gamer circles it's cool to uncritic...
