Most of the massive files sizes on current gen consoles come off as a waste, especially when there's some massive gorgeous games on those consoles with modest file sizes. It's mostly trash like warzone with those insane file sizes and bad graphics at the same time that are just lazy coding from wall to wall though
So you bought it but aren't buying it again, that's exactly why this is a bad business move on their part. Charging more, often earns you less $$ unless you get lucky enough to have idiots defending your product to the death (Apple fans.) People on here aren't "begging for free shit" they're saying if you charge me more than we deem the effort was worth, I'll give you less than if you charge a fair amount, that's just common sense. If they want to price thems...
I'm not very into the idea of "you weren't good enough so now it's tougher than what you couldn't even beat last time"
But I like the nemesis system for not that basically
While correct, it would work well in the majority of RPG's off the cuff
@Derek
Buying and enjoying a thing doesn't change whether or not it's a rip off price. Like, at that rip off price, you damn well better enjoy it otherwise the level of rip off is far worse
@hatchet
There's no reason to upgrade the graphics unless you're going to make the graphics insane. Why do this at all when the upgrade isn't even all that great? (I know the answer, money, but I'm talking beyond that.) I'm also not seeing upgrades beyond that at all, I see visuals updated to be equivalent tech a few years ago and that's about it.
So yeah, fresher coat of paint being marketed as an entirely new thing = no good
I'm not sure, for a game that's overcharging for simply a fresh coat of paint, you'd think the paint itself would actually look... fresher. Why go through all the effort of "remaking" this game at all if they're not even gonna make it look amazing
@Alb1899
Is it really that hard to comprehend that "new games day one" means next to nothing when they aren't releasing new games in the first place?
Like if Sony was first party day one, that would be a major headline. Microsoft first party day one just don't hit the same and we all know it
@crows
Just because humans can do good things, that doesn't automatically destroy Aussiesummers words. He's right, and it isn't some internal predictor of who he is, he's simply not denying reality. If you live in a fairy tail where humans don't do bad, or do much less bad than good, I think that's more of a personal indicator about you.
Plus, your precious cats would mostly survive and thrive without us, they are not some entirely helpless creature ...
@soulwarrior
What is mind boggling about the fact that sales are sales, regardless of which platform the money came from? Do you think Sony spends just for PlayStation fanboys to nut? They spend in order to turn a profit. Might as well have said
"I can't see why they spent 3 billion in order to make 3 billion + eventually"
It's just a nonsensical statement
@shinoff wasting time is in the eye of the beholder, we're all just gonna be dust regardless of if we changed the world or simply stared at the wall, the individual decides which was the time waste.
That said, I'm in my mid 30s and agree on their poor attention span in general, but aside from Pokemon (the only game I've seen where turn based actually went out of it's way to make feasible sense,) I have hated turn based my entire life as well, and attention span has no...
It only took 10 years too long
@crimson, can't argue with that, I prefer Thor ripped to the gills as well since I'm used to it. This version of fat Thor grew on me after realizing how accurate he is to his OG lore. He's much better than the MCU fat Thor at least
Odin or Thor? I assume Thor but that's not even who the article is about.
But eh get over it, put the strongest ripped guys up against the top strongmen and see who's more powerful, Thors body type wins every single time
Pokemon literally goes out of it's way for turn based fighting to actually make sense, it's baked into the story itself and it's the only game I've ever seen to do so.
I mean for real, how would Pokemon transition to action rpg in the first place? You're a person telling your Pokemon what to do, it wouldn't work. We're absolutely talking about the exception and not the norm with that one
@lamertamer
It sounds like you just read the headlines and move right on. That Assassin's Creed thing is proven incorrect click bait.
But my question to you is, what do you do about your physical copies after the disc sh*ts itself?
I definitely missed out on the first one, I only had a ps3 at the time unfortunately. I've been meaning to grab the PS4 remaster trilogy during a digital sale to check them out
Exactly. They even say that themselves in the paragraph on this page.
"It's too early to tell and too early to judge, but we still wrote an article about how we "need" to talk about it so you could click away anyway"
As someone who didn't play the series, the title comes off as absurd.
The third ones ending almost led us into the 4th one?? You don't say! How wild of concept that would've been!
Why is it that every guy with a misunderstanding about supply and demand basically just comes up with this same exact reply? Variety would be more fun at least.
Have you ever seen a supply/demand curve in your life? Price too high, make less than if you price better. Still, complete idiots will run around claiming "entitled snowflake" when people are actually laughing at a dev shooting themselves in the foot (they'll be earning less) as an overall result of their short...
