@madlad
It's all in context. Bethesda doesn't get this hate because they're actually the worst, they get this hate because they've become big enough that they shouldn't be so lackluster in their quality control anymore, yet they are. The bigger and richer you are, the less excuse you have for messing up the basic stuff and the more people will get on you about it.
And honestly, they deserved some slack a decade ago, but at this point they are not doing r...
They make hundreds of millions every year and make 15 games on one engine before doing the new minimum "optimizing" of said engine for the entire next generation.. yeah they are definitely hurting for cash, let's not even buy the game and just pay them the $70 instead because they're such awesome people
Reminds me of how Microsoft wouldn't even let you use your Netflix account on your Xbox unless you've had the privilege of paying them for Xbox live first.
As time goes on every one of these companies will squeeze us for more and more. If we were smart we'd have paid into Sony back when they were so pro consumer that it was basically stupid. They bled money though and started to do stuff like this instead because Microsoft was being praised at the same time as ...
@chard
It'll also be on sale for half off within the first few months of release, anyone who doesn't absolutely need to play this game immediately would be better off waiting just a little bit
Now that's the best deal in gaming right there!
If it were about the money, Bethesda has had enough of it to fix their coding issues a decade ago
From what I'm seeing the current Xbox has even less games than the Xbox one did this far out of the gate. Xbox hasn't changed, only it's marketing strategy and what it tells you guys
It's almost like From Soft would rather make money the traditional way, by making a good game and letting people pay for it directly/individually
People seriously can't comprehend anything other than what their own bias wants them to these days.
Sony is talking 3-5 years behind.... In terms of subscription numbers. That means (drumroll..) they think it'll take roughly 4 years to see that many subscriptions to their service. This isn't complicated stuff people
@gangsta
You know what would surprise me? Ms being directly responsible for the existence of high quality, engaging and fun games. 20 years in the bizz and you foam at the mouth to defend a company that's never even given you a good game before 🤣
Bro your like a cuckmans true cuck. You're defending the girl that friendzoned you 2 decades ago while she's blowing smoke up your ass telling you you're gonna get what you've been waiting for... You'...
This is how people should be looking at it but they're either too distracted or dumb to even understand which details matter truly matter
I'm with McLane here. A disc will be oh so useful when it's scratched beyond playability. The digital store will still be around when they happens in the (very near) future. I ask on here but no one's ever answered, what are you gonna do with your physical games after that happens?
Ms spent several generations proving to us that they are incompetent at managing and helping their devs get quality games made properly. So, they had to buy the biggest publishers who already do what they can't, that's the only way Xbox itself doesn't become one massive loss for Ms
@snookies
Haven't played it but at least you know enough to defend Xbox over it. The game did look good, for an Xbox game. That's not some "subtle shade," it's full on reality.
I remember it being nearly the only graphically decent game on the Xbone for like the first two years after launch, and graphics were that games strength
@fatty
Pre signed contracts are pre signed contracts, did you think that all legal obligations just disappear when a company gets bought?
Anyone trying to be genuine knows that when you go 2 generations in a row with carefully marketed promises of games, yet no delivery at all, you don't jump right back on their band wagon just because they bought some studios.
I'll look at the first several years of releases (after they finally eventually begin,) to see if MS even knows how to manage these studios properly, because anyone being genuine knows that throwing money at a studio doesn't automatically equal great...
Solid prediction? They'll milk GTA6 online like crazy and maybe (at most,) release a singular other game just to ignore the hell out of it
To be fair they don't need to have very many controllers before they've accomplished that feat 😅
The people commenting "just... work while you work" ....... Just smh, can't even comprehend a joke 🤦♂️
I'm at work right now and I only use this site at work, and guess what, all my work gets done in the first half of my shift. Ffs, I guess the guy is supposed to go do other peoples jobs after he's caught up with his own because he's not allowed to chill
For f*cking real. The way people get excited over this company like they expect an entirely new cinematic form of gameplay and fighting. It's Bethesda... You're a floating head without a body and without any physics that even feel like a body might be there, and the same awful sword swing mechanic that was there (and was okay,) in 2005. Starfield will be that mixed with no mans skys mining system.. yayyy
