Live is a rip-off in Canada and you only get half of the features.

Yep, Rare should be making games that rival Mario Galaxy but they make Kinect games and other casual stuff.
It's obvious that MS forced them to make games for the casual market (that MS wants SO badly) and denied any creative autonomy.

^^This is why every Rockstar game I played this gen was an experience like nothing else.
Consoles have gotten to a point where extra PC power doesn't mean PC-exclusive gameplay experiences that can't be done on consoles, it just means PC has nicer graphics.
Fundamentally, every PC gameplay experience can be replicated on consoles, even Crysis.
Obviously it's a console port, just look at it.
Still, gameplay hasn't been affected so who cares, it's not maxing out PC graphics but Skyrim is about substance more than flash.
I also bought Uncharted 3, Batman AC, Gears 3 and BF3 this fall...I find myself playing and enjoying Deus EX over the rest so, yeah, it's my GOTY thus far. But I do love a good SP experience so I'm biased against Gears and BF3.
I'll grab Skyrim when exams are completed and determine my personal GOTY winner.

What is the most sexist is a person not taking a woman seriously because she's sexy.
My university has an abundance of super sexy women with perfect bodies (in clothes at least) that are also incredibly intelligent.
If a guy or girl couldn't take them seriously because they were too attractive then they'd be completely sexist.
I don't care what gender, race or sexuality the character is in a game as long as there's not a mismatch between the story/gameplay and the character.
Even when I feel the most immersed in a game, I never feel like I'm that game character, I feel like i'm just in their environment with them.
Maybe because I'm just a regular black guy and every character is either white or if black, gangster-ish. But nah, even in ME when I created my guy, ...
People have the money to buy $600 iphone and ipads so they can buy a $400 console.
I'd love new consoles in 2012, a next-gen launch is always so exciting.
Nintendo blew it with the GC because they decided to use some tiny disc format and a ridiculous controller.
It's sad that Nintendo is afraid to compete with Sony (and now MS) on the same level, if they did they'd probably win but they always make a stupid decision dealing with hardware.
-N64: cartridges ruined them (no real 3rd party support)
-GC: limited storage medium and single analog controller ruined them (no real 3rd party support)

PC is missing a lot of the franchises I like so I could never be a PC only gamer.
His 360 comes back in December but it will break again and again. I had 4 break on me.
May as well just buy a Slim now or a PS3 and sell the refirbished one it while it works.
If I was a kid with no job I'd get a PS3 because I hate to have to rely on my parents to renew my Live subscription every year. Plus the same content on PSN is way cheaper than on Live.
MS price gouging is going to bite them in the eventually.
