I can't believe Infamous 2 didn't sell more, it's a really good game.
People like my friends are going to ruin gaming, all they play is MP on there favourite sports and FPS games all year.
Seriously they buy the same games every year and just log hundres of hours into MP, ignoring so many other great games.
360 became popular because at one time it had the best exclusives, it has ridden that popularity ever since.
It never would have been popular in the first place if it wasn't for all the exclusives it USED to have.
It just looked more colourful to me, still looked nicer but I was expecting more.

I'll wait for worldwide anual figures but it doesn't even really matter, this gen PS3 and 360 essentially tied. Even though it is likely that PS3 will overtake 360 eventually, a difference of a few mill is negligible.
But it seems people on here will gloat if one system ends up with 100 more sales than the other in the end, saying so and so finished 3RD!
Also, technically PS3 is probably second in the number of working consoles but again, they both ...

Whatever game you prefer is up to you but you can't say BF3s audio isn't leagues better than MW3s. That's just absurd.

I much rather a Deus Ex remake now, I can't go back to turned based combat and grinding.
I loved FF7 at the time but I must have developed ADHD or something since then and now because turned based combat and grinding seems like a waste of life to me now and is just boring.
I had no idea there were so many horrible game concepts.

That would be true if the person bought a used 360 from Gamespot.
I saw a lady pay $125 for a used old style 360 with no HD last year! I felt so bad for that kid, he could have had a new slim for $75 more and at least gotten some memory included...
And it would have a much smaller risk of breaking.
Guess you don't care much about gameplay experiences then because consoles still have a lot of great games that PC doesn't.
PS3s release date wasn't so much the problem as the high price tag, complete lack of games and horrible online infrastructure at launch.
PS3 was playing catch up more in the games and online department than anything else and that's why 360 kept it's lead. If 360 didn't have RROD, PS3 may have been a failed console.

I think sony is waiting for PS4 to fix things like messages and trophies and add private/cross-game chat, that way they can charge.
360 is selling too well for them to risk slowing momentum with a NextBox announcement, it just had its best month ever.
If Wii U slows 360 sales, then I expect to hear about 720.
I thought Arkham City was incredible but other than that I agree with the list.
I'd put BF3 on that list as well, I didn't have high expectation for MW3 because I thought it would be the same as MW2, which it was.
3DS will have a 10 million lead by the time Vita comes out. I thought they learned from 360, they shouldn't have released later.
The problem is gamers won't revolt against this, their already paying for COD Elite and they'd probably pay monthly subscription fees for COD and other games too.
Most gamers only play a few games a year which are just the next version of the one they were playing last year, which is why most games never crack 10 million sales despite there being over 100 million HD consoles out there.
