I wish I was involved with PS back in the day. Missed so many good games. I owned PS one late into the cycle and didn't really know much of what it had to offer back then. I know this is just a funny trailer, and this game will be awesome. What sucks is that I have sunset overdrive, forza horizon 2, advanced warfare, driveclub (at least ps-plus version), master chief collection aready pretty much day-one buys. Plus I still love titanfall and I really want assassins creed unity. Also, I just bought destiny. Now...I want this game...I am screwed. Plus I am a full time student and work fulltime as a nurse. SO...I am basically gonna miss out on at least one or two ...

@OP...halo 4 was far from s***. It was an awesome game and a solid first attempt. That being said, it lost a lot of the original halo spirit( it was still a halo game at heart tho), and that pissed a lot of us off. I hope the mp is back to basics this time tho, and I do hope the campaign feels a bit more open, kind of how etackett posted above.
@ PSN_zero...you miss the point that 360 gained massive market share when compared to the previous generation. Say what you will, but head start or not, 360 put a giant dent in the market share that PS2 held. So many expected that growth could continue, had MS played their cards right. They have massive resources, but ultimately placed them in the wrong areas...and that proved to be a losing gamble. So I think next time, maybe you should apply a little logic. The fight for market share is always there. The reality is (and say what you want about head starts last gen) that many firms, devs etc. expected MS to have the lead this gen, especially in NA. Also, gamers on both sides surely expected a much closer race, that is until Xbox one was unveiled.
The problem is that there is still a lot of time, and though MS is behind by a significant margin, their current numbers definitely do not warrant the abandonment of billions invested. I...

haha, i truly have only bothered with a handful of indies. but it doesn't hurt to have the choice, and the market is there for these games. This "parity clause" is one of the few strong-arm anti-consumer anti-gamer tactics left over from MS old ways. I am surprised they haven't ditched this one yet.
If this was true, and they do "spin off" xbox, that doesn't mean it needs to be closed down. It just means xbox becomes independent of MS and becomes its own company with its own executives etc. I mean who knows what would happen then, but I just want to point out that a spin off does not mean selling off each part and breaking the brand up. So this would not mean the end of xbox, at least not directly.
exactly. he wants to cash out while he can get the most from it, and then sit on a beach somewhere with a mojito and some naked chicks. So he approaches a company with the money to make it happen.
MS is not looking to such a company simply to force people to buy xbox one. They simply want to control it and gain more profits. It's a smart business decision, one which Sony could never afford. MS would still sell minecraft on other platforms, as this would gain them the most profits.
We are not talking about a few million bucks to get a start up dev under your roof and hoepfully pull a few extra console sales in. This is big business. Stop whining, please.
TO be fair, the new consoles could display simple games at the same or better resolutions. But who would want to play higher-res games that look half as good?
Really? you think this? You do realize in the case of phones and tablets it's the tiny screen that allows games to display at such high resolutions. Sure they have come a long way and there is nothing wrong with that, but mobile is a very long way out from looking like mid-range PC, xbox one and ps4. It's funny how companies see just how important a metric resolution has become. I mean a high res screen on an iPhone is enough to overcome high-quality AAA titles using dynamic lighting ...

I tend to give MS the benefit of the doubt, because this kind of stuff means little to me. I have all consoles, and I am no fanboy, but do prefer xbox....AND EVEN I WILL OUTRIGHT SAY THIS GUY IS FULL OF S***. They should either post numbers,or simply do not answer such questions. It just looks stupid.

Now that they are making the friends list quicker and adding messaging as well as quick info like clock, battery etc, it's really useful. It is kind of getting back to the functionality of the quick menu from Xbox 360. Deff good stuff

This is why people say "it's vg chartz". You cannot trust these numbers. I mean we all know ps4 is outselling and probably by a comfortable number, but this is just no way to really gauge it. I don't really care all that much anyways, but it would be nice to actually get some real numbers straight from the horses mouth...i'm calling you a horse MS
