@boss, don't forget the new gears, I have no doubt that game will look insane. Also, the new racers like forza horizon at 1080/60, and especially drive club...which down right looks real. I'd say the new consoles were a grand well spent. Besides, you can't play uncharted on pc

Well it's kinda like those times when I get home late, and I'm pretty drunk and can't really see that well, or if I have been playing all night and now I've just about had it but yet I'm still kind of attracted to the light like a moth..so then I would just sit there and zone out. Does anyone think this was meant to be a system seller all on its own? I wasn't aware of this. This isn't fact but its still interesting. Titanfall and AW will still be quite diff due to the larger maps, titans, wall running etc. Either way Idc, titanfall has been fun and is deff solid, while AW looks to be the first cod that gets some respect form skeptics in a long while. I like the way it looks so far.
This should be fun. Looks great. At least they switched it up. Looks like they took away somethings from Titanfall, but really found a way to integrate it into an already solid experience.
I wouldn't speak too soon. 4K is only now beginning to be a reality for the general public. While very expensive just for "entry level" 4k Tv/monitors and even more pricey for 4K graphics, don't think for 1 second that 5-6 years time you won't be able to have 4K tech for a pretty reasonable price. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the next-gen of consoles could pull it off, even if it was not yet the standard.
Well to be fair, 1080 is deff what you would hope for. But honestly the diff sure isnt that serious on my 42 inch screen. I have even gotten to play some games on both my ps4 and xb1 and it never really blew my mind. If you have an xb1 only, or simply want to get this game on x1, then it is nothing to get all that upset over. But again, to be fair, yes, 1080 is obviously better.
I agree with you. Reviews can be useful but you really cannot go by score. At the very least, read several reviews from trusted sources to find out what exactly bought the score down. Some games almost sound like 9's when reading the review, but some minor issues build up or maybe there is just a bad ending etc. Doesn't mean the game isn't awesome, it just means they have to be fair and take off points for things. Also, watch gameplay. I mean if a game seems like something you don...

Obviously they want their game out for more platforms. They need money. And while the game would have sold more units on ps4 d/t a larger install base, it sounds to me like they just aren't happy with the install base of new gen hardware period. So maybe in a year or two we will have a more fully features sequel and it would be multi plat.

Alan Wake is exactly the kind of game people get on xbox for NOT having. It takes things in a new direction and was sort of a "risky" game to make. Sometimes I feel like ya can't win...game did not get enough credit at all.
