There really are some great titles across the board. I have to say that this fall I am most excited for what's to come on X1, thought I pretty much knew this would be the case for some time now. I'm happy quantum break is delayed, let them polish it a bit more and give me time to play other things. Same with Sony and Uncharted 4. I am amped for tomb raider and id rather not have them both at exactly the same time.
I really hope theres not boost jumping. Idk man, there's just something about it. In Halo 5 Beta the boost was just a quick dash to help with mobility. In AW I think you jump way to high. It just leads to what feel like very awkward fire fights. Idk, to each his own, but the boost jumps in AW just feel like a bit much to me. When they announced it I thought it would just be a quicker way to traverse, like maybe skip a ladder and just hop up and grab a ledge, or quickly get across roof top...

sounds to me like you never played it so for you it wouldnt be so much a remaster as a new game. but yes, there have been a lot of remasters. I'll take it as long as they are good games (the really only remaster good games). Im sure they are stilling working on new projects.
Agreed. I can see why some might point out some influence from games like CoD, but that's just the way it works. Think how much Halo influenced other games. At the end of the day that beta felt nothing like CoD to me. It felt great, but not like CoD.
I will say however, that Halo 5 will likely pull in a few more from the CoD crowd than usual, but not for its sameness.
honestly, if true, ill be disappointed for the fact that i really wanna play this game. but if they need to push it just a bit further to really release a top notch game...so be it, im with that.
Just to add my opinion, 30fps is not a disappointment in general, but for Forza 6 it might be. I have gone back and forth from Forza Horizon to FM5 and the difference is pretty huge. So to be fair, FH2 is great at 30fps, but after having FM5 at 60fps, it would be hard to swallow a change back to 30 for the next FM title. I bet that at this point they could hit 1080/60 and match or likely beat the E3 build of FM5. It might not be be quite on par with a game like driveclub graphically though, b...
I have been thinking about this as well...TBH if forza 6 looks like the e3 2013 demo did, but maybe just with dynamic lighting, that would be enough for me. To be fair though, Turn 10 has deff proved themselves over the years, and with a little bit more experience with the hardware, better SDKs and a better development schedule, there's no reason to doubt a new closed-circuit forza game couldn't at least rival drive club on some level. Honestly I see why you would want something besides an FPS, but I really want another Titanfall. My hope would be that this time around we would get a large campaign and some coop, and that they could implement some non-linear God of War like mechanics. If they did decide to make a 3rd person action type game, I wouldn't complain, though.
Same here. I used to go there because my grandmother got employee discounts...I remember going there for Donkey Kong games, Banjo Kazooie, Mario...the list goes on. I used to love the kiosks. I agree. In the case where MS owns the franchise, they just need to find a good studio and hire them to make it, as is the case here. The issue is getting studios to make new IP while giving MS the rights to such IP. That is where MS needs to buy studios...They inherently own the IP any 1st party studio makes, and I would like to see them continue to work that type of strategy.
cool concept. made me a bit dizzy though. graphics were pretty good for last gen though. what a diff from the xone release though. glad they switched. ryes was cool, but lacked depth. id take a ryse sequel any day if they open up the world a bit more and give depth to the combat system.

This game looks really smooth. The thruster looks well implemented and balanced. The weapons seem great from what I've seen. And I am impressed by the graphics in this video,especially the first map. great lighting and details, especially nice for a year ahead of release. I just really like what i'm seeing so far. Just my two cents.
