I wish they would just make it like THPS 3 and up. They don't need to change the fundamentals of those games much. It's been long enough and they were so fun. Also cross gen could really hold back the graphics.

Wow windows 10 does look real cool. I like that it's taking the better parts of 8.1 and integrating them into the classic desktop. It actually looks very easy and fun to use. Plus cortana should be a nice addition for pc and Xbox one. The fact that it's a free upgrade is smart on MS part, helps shed the greedy corporate image a bit. Can't wait to try it myself.

I understand people who are frustrated about MS touting cloud compute at e3 2013 and acting almost like it would be there out of the box. But I don't get why people are still so hell bent on "debunking" cloud compute. We all know it's not quite ready to become the standard, but if anyone here thinks we won't be seeing this type of thing in the future, and in a big way, they are nuts. MS's mistake was putting it front and center at a time when they knew as well as eve...
Both of those games look amazing, but cmon, they are exclusives. Not really enough next-gen only exclusives out on either side nor are we deep enough into this gen to really pull those kind of comparisons. Just saying.
Side note: I think The Order was mediocre at best, but having recently began Bloodborne, I can say that game is awesome.
I take statements like this as confirmation of only one thing: X1 and PS4 are very similar overall. Especially for those who aren't really taxing the hardware. But even the larger devs seem to say the same thing. This is all really old news. The PS4 isn't some kind of generation ahead. I wouldn't yet jump to conclusions, though I wouldn't be all that shocked to know it was marketed toward ps4. I think at this point it is plausible that ps4 is a bit easier to develop for and a bit stronger so it has taken the lead for development purposes and then sort of gets ported over to x1. I'm not sure but I just don't think this really confirms anything yet.

They can say what ever they want...it's all valid in my book so long as this game is solid and worthy of the hype once it does come out...and I'm not really doubting it will.
I think it would be good for the game to go multiplat. But I've been saying for years now, MS should really have purchased this studio a while back or if it's still possible. Great way to bolster 1st party and solidify exclusive content. But hey, w.e. As long as they continue to make great games, Idc where they come to .

ds4 is deff great. i still like the x1 contoller better, but thats just my preference. i hated the former ds, but they really nailed it this time, in a big way.
@gutzandpapercuts: i couldnt agree more...totally acceptable. forget the resolution. its not that it wont make any difference, but it shouldnt make the game inferior in any major way. to be able to achieve what they are doing and still hit 900/60 to me is a sign of how devs are already starting to tackle the hardware.
Honestly, I want dynamic lighting and weather in Forza 6, and if they can pull it off while still getting 60 frames but at the cost of 900p, i'll take it. ...
I like when games focus on a smaller, more personal story. Gear of War eluded to the fact that something bigger was at at play, but ultimately it always felt very focused and personal..this allowed for a darker tone. Gears 2/3 were amazing games, but they felt even more "gung-ho" and comic-like.
Halo never really struck me as a very dark game, but I think it could benefit from a darker tone.
Yea I like that they come with thoughtful additions in between the larger updates. I wonder what we might see once windows 10 releases.
@reaper24, i agree. I would have gladly shelled out a few more bucks for each console if it meant a little more power. That said, I have not been let down by the performance of either console yet, speaking in general. The question is just how much more these would need to cost to really make a worthwhile difference. I am sure when the companies did their research, they took into account the fact that $50 extra bucks on the cpu or something would really only go so far.
