I'm actually pretty interested in this. Might as well see how it turns out in the end.
Poor Suda, having to dance to this title. Well, at least he looks like he enjoyed it!
I'd rather just wait and see what they actually have. Things usually work better that way.
Some interesting differences between Famitsu and Media Create here:
1) Mario Kart isn't in the top 10 according to Media Create (game came out of nowhere, by the way).
2) Final Fantasy XIII is fourth, not fifth, according to Media Create.
3) Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP the Best) isn't in the top 10 either.
Well, it might just be best to actually check out the Famitsu data, since there are a few other differences as well:
An interesting thing that was pointed out is that New Super Mario Bros. Wii has already reached Mario Galaxy's goal. That's pretty crazy.
I wonder how many units it'll sell this week since last week it sold over 500,000.
No huge surprises here. Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP the Best) is off to a decent start. Mario Kart Wii is back in the top 10, though.
Honestly, I'm not familiar with many robot video games. Some are hoping that it will be Zone of the Enders 3, but they also say it's not likely. Really, I'm not sure.
As someone who recently became a Kingdom Hearts fan, I'm very happy with that Birth By Sleep score. Definitely a game I'm interested in playing.
There's always going to be new ideas, new technology, so it's going to be tough for gaming to reach its potential.
Looks like Nintendo had a strong month of December. NPD results should be interesting to see. But, man, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is insane.
While Spirit Tracks had a great first week, the sell-through rate is about half of what Phantom Hourglass was. For me, Spirit Tracks is the better game so that's disappointing.
Wonder why they didn't just set it to 30 days initially rather than a week (unless it truly is a glitch, which I doubt). Hopefully it won't be delayed again. But really, I'm hoping that we'll get a game reveal. These developers have created some fantastic games (Okami/Viewtiful Joe when they were Clover, Bayonetta/MadWorld/Infinite Space at Platinum Games).
That's a shame, as this is a high-quality title. But yeah, importing will be worth it.
Compared to last week, these downloads aren't nearly as good. Trajectile is probably the only game that may be interesting for me.
Wii Sports Resort/Wii Fit Plus sitting comfortably in the top 2 positions. Just Dance moved up a lot and so New Super Mario Bros. Wii is down one slot. I've actually seen that game being advertised quite a bit on TV, but I have no desire to purchase it.
Still pretty big numbers for the Wii this week. PS3 dropped, but many people were expecting that since FFXIII sales were down. The PSP numbers might be the most surprising - Perhaps people are gearing up for Kingdom Hearts.
The funny thing about Wii HD is that it's mostly been talk from Michael Pachter, who pretty much admitted that he was speculating. However, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Nintendo released an alternative Wii, especially after there have been four versions of the DS.
Pretty big PSP numbers. Perhaps people are still getting geared up for Kingdom Hearts?
Anyway, sales are probably going to be down from here on out since the holidays are over.
