We'll probably get another lame Jack Tretton/Kaz Hirai HOME demo where they discuss how cool it is and that we'll "soon" be seeing it available. The same will happen in 09, 2010 and that maybe it will be available for the PS4 @ launch in 2011.
don't keep telling me about it. I don't care anymore until I see it available for download.
on the release of HOME. We should simply ignore it until they actually release it. I'm tired of discussing the possibility of it coming out with every little gaming conference or show that comes our way. Will we be talking about the possibility of HOME @ next year's GDC? With the way things have been going, it looks like a good possibility.

I know you want to get it right, but this is ridiculous. It makes your claims of "we've been working on this for years" seem misleading at best. that people call this "foxnews-ing" when every 'news' outlet is guilty of sensationalism, bias and generally trying to entertain the dimwitted masses as opposed to giving an objective, informed report on actual newsworthy information.
That said, the reason for this is fanboy blogging. Sometimes when I see news items posted on N4G and proceed to check the source, I have to do a Picard faceplant and wonder why some unknown bloggers opinion is remotely newsworthy.

More like to compete w/ Warhawk. I wonder if the graphics are better on the retail version than the demo. It is a pretty ugly game. Warhawk>Frontlines.

I am speaking more of a slight boost to get out of trouble. Not something akin to UT3's blistering pace. Just a change of pace similar to CoD4. Halo's gameplay tends to have people hang out in corners and camp instead of actually getting out and battling. I understand the concept of utilizing teamwork, but when everyone is camping it gets quite boring.
Let Master Chief run, at least in small bursts. He has all of these abilities but couldn't win a speedwalking competition at the special olympics. The game play is way too slow.
Halo 3 maps are terrible. There are maybe 4 decent maps out of the bunch. The rest are boring and poorly designed. Make some better maps.
In the end, the gameplay is still just too slow. It's amazing to see how I've gone from loving Halo 2 so much (for two years) to despising Halo 3.
Campaign wise, he has no claim (even though Halo 3's isn't great by any stretch of the imagination). UT3's is a sorry excuse for practice.
Multiplayer it owns Halo 3 in all aspects.
Resistance 1 utilized squad chat features where you and your friends could go to another "channel" if you will, to only chat with each other. It worked very well. I'd imagine they'll implement the same thing in RFoM 2.
They should really address the mediocrity of the game as a whole and issue an apology for hyping and selling a sub par product. How a game as terrific as Halo 1 and 2 could devolve into this mess is a shame really. I had such high hopes. I think my biggest disappointment was with the multiplayer maps, but the single player game was kinda sad too.

to improve the game on a lot of fronts. Muting, party stability, host migration. I can't wait until someone finally gets it right...completely. Insomniac and RFoM 2, maybe?
