Article was awful.
Simon Templeman hands down is the best voice actor in video games.
Couldn't bundle LBP2 with a 3D tv as it is not a 3D game.
Hardware sales are great for Nintendo. The Wii certainly has been a coup for them. It comes at a cost when you release an underpowered machine with awful, awful online support.
Software sales on the other hand are what drives the industry. Nintendo's pathetic 3rd party support is something that must be remedied. My Wii collected dust for a solid year, with me logging a total of 46 minutes of play time. Games on the other systems are just better.
It's more reliable b/c it's played far, far less than Atari 2600's.
and really wish I didn't. It really isn't that great. AI is poor, enemy variety is worse. The game doesn't even really look that good, and I'm using component cables. It's average. I don't think it's worthy of a 4, but a 6 out of 10 is definitely a legitimate score.
but not common on console FPS's.
Jet Brody. Got it at the $10 Best Buy sale and quickly traded it in.
MS could care less about PC's getting this game (or any other game). As long as the PS3 doesn't get it, MS will be happy.
MS probably doesn't care to lose exclusivity rights to bad games anyway. It'd be like Sony getting upset if someone decided to port Haze to the 360; though I think more 360 fans would be upset than Sony or their fans, lol.
with a bajillion mario offshoots is way overdoing it. God of War is a series of games that tells ONE story. Mario is a stupid platformer that has no story to tell. Apples and oranges.
Seriously dude, you should drop the lame Ninty defense. If you enjoy games, and always have, Ninty pretty much said they weren't interested in appeasing you. They want the "maybes." You don't qualify as a maybe. Why be so interested in their 3 decent games per console cycle? They aren't ...
What exactly? This is yet another person "in the industry" unlike yourself who is complaining about the Wii. See Madworld, ExciteTruck and Blob (all critically well received titles) sales figures for yourself and get back to me. Then, look down the Wii software aisle (or as I call it, a wasteland of trash)and tell me everything's peachy on the software front.
Outside of Nintendo's 1st party, the GH franchise and ports of PS2/Gamecube games, nothing sells.
that no matter what content a 3rd party puts out on the Wii (aside from Guitar Hero) is that nobody buys it. So whether it's shovelware or an honest attempt, the Wii simply put, is best suited for the casual gaming market.
***Awaits lunatic Wii fans to debubble and disagree***
so I'll reserve judgment on it until there is a concensus. I've read hands on previews before that spoke glowingly of the small portion that was played only to have the game come out as crap (Haze anyone?).
Just b/c this dev team is blowing their own horn about a game on a console starved for decent content does not mean the game will be good.
Give them kudos for trying, but until there are actual games to be played and tested, then granting the greatness monikor on them is premature.
My concern with this title and it's 4 player co-op is how much the Wii friend codes will limit this game.
I could see myself getting a Wii for...finally.
I can't think of one.
A troll who can't at least admit he/she's a troll.
When you play Uncharted 2,and then post actual comparison information on the two games from code, maybe your posts will have credence.
Until then, your talking out of your @$$.
Let me hurry up and change my name to RLoD or RRoD and proceed to talk about how little Ubisoft has improved their tech from Splinter Cell DA to the new Splinter Cell that hasn't been released yet. It makes as much sense as ...
A fellow Soul Reaver and Uncharted fan here. They both at least two things in common that make them awesome... (Amy Henig and Simon Templemann).
Anywhere Amy goes, a good game will follow. She left Eidos right before LOK Defiance and joined Naughty Dog right around Jak III.
Simon voices Kain (he's the best voice over actor in videogames) in Soul Reaver and the old man (forget his name) in Uncharted.
