his favorite kind of game. Spam and troll, get banned, open new account, rinse wash and repeat. I don't know if I'd call that a AAA game experience, but hey, it's what floats his boat.

You should probably be posting in the open forum.

How clever a nickname. Quick, I'll change mine to RLoD. Wait, I'm not a troll fanboy, nevermind.

{Except that I hate the Wii, but that's deserved. ;)}

in the very least with the fully mapable buttons. I do like that they are allowing you to set up your own control scheme (like PC). I hope in the future, all fps titles allow that.

that you are being facetious. 'Shirley' you can't be serious.

How many Wii FPS' have good control schemes at the moment? Metroid Prime 3, the Gamecube port? That's about it right? Yeah, that's pretty much it.

Have fun with your online play as well.

frightens me as a real gamer. The Conduit looks to be a solid effort by an independent company actually putting forth effort on a 3rd party Wii title.

Will it push me to buy a Wii? No. When the Wii is more appropriately priced @ $129.99 USD will I check it out? Sure.

I think you could take a poll of gamers across all platforms and it would come to the same conclusion, the Wii's software is awful.

Sometimes, a reputation is just earned. In this case, the fact aside from the same exact 4 Ninty franchises (that are long since burned out) the Wii has nothing.

It's you who is being narrowminded. You can't see past your console bias.

@ Mr. Nintendo: In reference to the Jaguar, you obviously don't understand the conc...

I don't respond much in n4g.com nor do I usually call a person out twice in one thread, but man you are a die hard nintendo fan aren't you?

I'm so sorry. If you need a shoulder, just let me know.

De Blob, give me a break.

I know you are smoking crack now. The Jaguar has better exclusives than the Wii. A box of crayons has better games than the Wii.

Face it, the Wii sucks. This is a case where judging a book by it's cover (software) is appropriate.

If the shoe fits, you have to wear it. I usually buy new games every couple of weeks, depending on release schedules or deals on used games. Whether I'm in Best Buy, Game Stop or Wal Mart, I will browse the video game selections of the two consoles I own (PS3, 360) to see if I can find a deal or a game I passed up on. Because I am one of "those people" who has owned every 'major console' released since the NES days, I look for a reason to buy a Wii.

I go down the Wii...

PS3 owners aren't missing anything special. It's a 4 hour rinse and repeat marathon that loses any appeal about 2 hours in. You encounter the same enemies and situations over and over again.

and should not even be included in the same sentence as sports. It's a competitive activity akin to chess.

timmyrulz, what would the origin of the winner have to do with whether or not an activity is boring to another? I love video games but find watching it on tv a bore. It doesn't matter to me where the winner is from. Watching videogames competitively played on tv is about as entertaining as watching soccer. The game draft is a joke of painful proportions.

I will be playing some serious Warhawk between August 27 and the LBP release.

I'm on my 5th 360. Only one of my previous four had a red ring of death. The others were disc drive failures, a hard drive failure (I think)...all of which "were not" covered under M$'s warranty beyond a year. Thankfully, I had a gamestop warranty on my 1st one (iirc gamestop stopped selling PRP's on the 360 for a while) that died. Two failed within a year, and my last one lasted just longer than a year. The M$ customer rep told me I probably should have bought an extended warranty ...

and sad fanboy comments show you have no clue as to what you are talking about. As developers get more experience with a platform (many are) they learn how to better use it. Bethesda made a solid game out of Oblivion on the PS3. It ran better (when it was released) than the 360 version. Yes, they had year to work on it (seeing that the 360 was out for a year before the PS3 launched) so it's easy to see why there was a year difference. (Shipped on 03/21/06 for 360, 03/20/07 for PS3) The 360 la...
