Mods make this game so much more awesome. There are some terrific mods and map makers out there. Downpour is awesome.
is the difference between games like GTA4, MGS4 vs the Nintendo sequels. There is little substance to the Nintendo franchises. Gameplay is top notch, but it's the same.
GTA and MGS have storylines that are more appealing IMO, not just b/c they are M rated. Nintendo really should try some other avenues.

I like what they tried to do, but it seems like they just copy and pasted the same objectives in every map. Glad I got the game for free. Hopefully they can add more to the next. It's intriguing, but disappointing.

It's like eating the same food every day. Yeah, it's good the 1st time. Then yeah, again the 2nd time. But after a while you just get sick of it. Those games bring nothing new to the table.

as one of the biggest examples of a "pet rock" in the last 20 years. It's an overclocked Gamecube with loads of shovelware and it still sells like mad. Their PR/Advertising department has done an excellent job in taking peoples money w/o rendering a real service. I'm one of the few who haven't spent twice what the system is worth on one and I'm thankful. I have escaped their apparent mind melting ray gun device. Phew!

wasn't great. It has some great ideas but they really need to expand the next iteration in a number of ways. Mix up the quests. The NPC's all said the exact same thing on each street whether you were saving them from a group of soldiers or they were espousing their hatred of the "Infidel Christian King." The quests were too monotonous/tedious and the fighting system was too shallow. The game tried to do too many things and ended up being very mediocre.
Medal of Honor on PS2 and CoD4 on PS3 and a few other games have occasionally made me motion sick. It was usually after I had been playing too long and had to quit.
This game looks cool. Hopefully it won't make me motion sick.
meh. It feels very generic, the voice acting is bad and wtf w/ the environment being so static. I shoot leaves and they don't move. AI wasn't very solid either.

I think GTA4 has been overhyped too much and once I've finished it the DLC won't mean jack to me. If I continue playing this game it will be b/c of the multiplayer and not the campaign. It's just the same old GTA series with spit polish. I'm not saying it's bad, it isn't, but it certainly isn't as revolutionary as many have made it out to be.
