4 million out of over 100 million isn't that bad. I wonder what the stats are for the 360's 10+ million? Mine died one month after the warranty expired.
It's not like they desecrated the church. In the storyline (which I'm sure they've completely failed to research) Europe is overrun by alien creatures who have no regard for houses of worship.
I hope the diocese of New York finally gets around to suing the makers of the movie Ghostbuster b/c the StayPuft Marshmellow man stepped on a church. How dare they?...this lawsuit is long overdue, they should expect interest with the payment of the settlement.
We can't forget to mention that Best Buy and Circuit City give away 5 HD DVD titles with the purchase of an HD DVD player. Do they count this?
The lull from Resistance up to now is unforgiveable. Sure, Motorstorm was okay and all, but Resistance is the only title(that's exclusive) that has really kept my attention. Oblivion is great, and I play it all of the time, but it has been available elsewhere for some time, so I'll leave that out.
Launch window games being pushed back consistently hasn't helped things and 3rd party dev's have been really slow in putting out software. The PS3 is a wonderful system that has very ...
Wolfgang,
I'm not interested in your bio or your posting past. I made my opinion of the game known and some of you disagreed without giving reasons and also in a less than civil manner. So I suggest you either (1) not get offended by someone else's view of a game, (2) disagree in a better fashion by presenting actual reasons you disagree. Your pathetic attempts to insult b/c you disagree screams fanboy. I will not go out of my way to find out what your posting record is as I do...
I guess you guys didn't mind paying $60 for the Halo 3 Beta. Never once did I say the game was bad, but it did nothing spectacular. It was short, the graphics were ok, and the length/difficulty of the game is a joke.
Pretty feeble attempts at humor though...I'm not impressed with your 360 fanboy retorts. (wolfgang, mart(mastertroll)
Where was PS3 mentioned anywhere in the previous comment? That's what I thought.
FWIW, I've been owned by the rings ...
You've got to be kidding me. While the game was fun in many regards, it was nothing more than an abbreviated easter egg hunt (orbs). You beat the game in about 3 hours, none of the bosses were difficult or presented any different challenges, and quite simply, the game is too short.
Crackdown is a good idea, just very incomplete.
Talking about making excuses. Why should we listen to anything you say Mart? You say that the excuse can't be used that "dev's have had 1 more year to work on the 360 than PS3" and then you turn around and say that the reason Oblivion looks and runs better on the PS3 is b/c they had an additional year to work on it. Typical fanboy response.
The maps are finished. Reading > some people.
5.5 million units may be referencing Blu Ray titles sold from what i gather.
The article sounds like an anti Sony guy using his imagination to conjure up a scenario where HD-DVD can win. The biggest problem HD-DVD has is the lack of Disney and Sony Movie studio support. The combined libraries of those two are massive.
Hendrix, Clapton, Metallica, Zep, nirvana are all ok. The rest of the bands you listed = infected boiling diarhea.
Far better visuals on the 360? Sorry, way off. I guess you read none of the reviews about it being a better looking game and a much smoother running game on the PS3. Having owned and played both, I can attest to that.
EDIT: Nothing sadder than a sad fanboy (#4) grasping at straws.
New issues to bash? When they refuse to correct the big 'issue' it's hard to focus on any others. Xbots just can't handle bad news. When the Wii outsells the 360 in the next few months will it evoke a "can't you guys find any new issues to bash" response? My 360 died on me two weeks ago. Fortunately, I spent an additional $40 bucks on a warranty at EBgames and was saved the trouble of dealing with M$.
I thought the demo was already for sale...b/c that is about what the disc is, a demo.
to say it is great is a stretch. Only 3 gameplay modes. Graphics are porous. Animations are even worse(climbing ladders), in fact, the technical portion of the game seems rushed all together. If the server quits, you are screwed. The game isn't as balanced as it should be. No single player missions and the limited maps make the game seem very short and stale after a few days. Don't even get me started on joining a game with a party as it will often split you and your friends to "balance&...
I traded in my DS b/c the games bored me, mini games ftl. I still play my PSP all of the time.
3 gameplay modes and a handful of maps is not worth $60. Also, if the server quits, you're screwed.
I have been patiently waiting for some time. Hurry up already. I want to put quality time in on the PS3. Calling All Cars just doesn't do it for me.
Caugh Caugh??? Pointless Xbot statment followed by Caugh Caugh?? Who are you, Liberace?
I love playing games on my PSP. I also enjoy watching movies on it when I am out on the road. I utilize a majority of it's functions and abilities. The web browser (though it is SLOW) even get's use on occasion. (While on vacation a lot of the time.)
