$250.00. Nothing much more to say than $250. That's the biggest difference. Software certainly isn't. Online functionality certainly isn't. Fun, well, I guess it is for someone.

@ 5.0: You are assuming a lot of things(incorrectly), so go back and think it through again.

@ 5.2: I like that my PS3 has a much lower failure rate and believe it or not, the no games argument is getting old. There are games, and plenty more coming. When will the dead 360 complaint ever end? Oh wait, we have a warranty, great. Now I have to wait X amount of time to play my crappily manufactured console. Great logic.

300 comes out soon in HD, I can watch it on my...

So many take the "last gen" statement out of context. It was stupid of Sony not to pay Immersion off before the PS3's release. However, they have been in discussions w/ them for some time and their version of rumble (developed by Immersion) will be more advanced than what we are accustomed to as of now. It's not that hard to see if you remove the red ringed colored glasses.

So if they weren't to do an online service (for not wanting to copy someone else) what would you suggest? GTFO xbot tool

I think the problem with the Wii is that Nintendo absolutely refuses to go online. Games like Metroid with online capabilities would appeal to all gamers IMO. With the developer saying that programming for the Wii is easier than cake, there is no reason why they couldn't implement some sort of online multiplayer. Metroid is one of the few Nintendo 1st party titles that would do well online. 3rd party dev's see the system as a means of making quick money by making mini games. At what point do ...

The gameplay (based on the video) will be combat stance based. Different stances will play to your advantage/disadvantage depending on your enemies (size, number, styles etc). I don't think you'll be seeing typical button mashing faire. I hope they can present a solid system seller for the PS3, it looks like MS may have made a mistake in passing on this one.

I still feel the same way about the Wii despite my having played it. Unless I can find it for $99.99 somewhere, I won't ever buy it.

It's still better IMO than a premium 360, even at $600. You get everything (rumble on it's way) the 360 can do and then some. IN addition to that, it is WAAAAYYY more reliable. My 360 is about to go back to the store for trade in. Don't want to risk another one dying on me. I can live w/o Gears and Halo 3.

I look forward to Warhawk more than any other title.

I do agree with this developer, Jade Raymond = the hawtness.

What a piece of garbage article.

Sony should really consider selling UMD's w/ Blu Ray's as incentive to buy the movies. It may actually sell more PSP's as well. They should have done this w/ DVD's in the 1st place. Charge an additional $5 for a SE DVD that includes the UMD. OF course this would have only been instituted w/ Sony Pictures, but that is a large umbrella of movies.

I agree. I have very little desire to get a Wii, but a Metroid game w/ online multiplayer would have been a reason to get one. Not that it would have pushed me over the top and forced me to get one, but a game like that w/ multi would be fun IMO.

Oh no, anyone but Koei. Please don't suspend your game Koei.

Puhleeze. Koei is always FTL! WHo's next, Atlus?

I'm hoping for a lot more than the Beta offered in terms of gameplay. This game is very very slow. Master Chief: a super human soldier who couldn't win a speedwalking competition at the special olympics.

You're wrong. The more likely scenario is that people are selling their PS3's to other people willing to buy them. People are holding on to their Wii's and sending their 360's in for repair.

I know a lot of people with 360's and at least half of them have had theirs die. I am on my 2nd 360 now and have been experiencing the freeze up problems yet again. I fear for what the future holds. If this one dies, MS can take their crappy machine back and my $$, I'm done with them.

I have two HDtv's and couldn't go back to SD. Watching NFL/NCAA football, Discovery HD and the host of other channels in HD is without a doubt awesome. Playing games on my PS3 and 360 in HD only adds to the joy of an HDtv. Blu ray movies in 1080p FTMFW.

I agree with him that there is no reason not to have headsets. It makes the games much better and is a major reason XBL is so popular. Take away headsets, XBL IMO wouldn't be nearly as good. It inspires a "community" appeal.

Provide your proof mr murda. You can't spout #'s and not support them with a link or a direct quote from MS (who refuses to even discuss it). Polls are the only means of measuring what is going on. This isn't FUD. People's 360's are dying multiple times. MS needs to be held accountable until the correct it and it becomes a non issue.

I want this game now. It sucked that I was pretty much the only person not invited to the massive Beta.

That's pretty high praise coming from an xbox guy. It's good to see a gamer enjoying a game and not hating a system.
