Very similar to a 360 that lasts longer than a year. :-)
Hold on to that bad boy, b/c there aren't many out there.
This event was announced months ago. We already knew this was going to happen.
I'd bring it back and get another one.
They should really fix the matchmaking. I should be able to party up with my friends and randomly enter a match with my friends "on my team." (Shadowrun)
My launch PS2 still works...as well as my launch PS1. I know of no one personally whose PS2 died. I'm sure there were PS2's that broke.
My first 360 died. I know of no one whose 360 hasn't died yet. There may be a few on my XBL friends list, but a majority of people I know have gone through at least one 360.
In other news, Microsoft hired O.J. Simpson as their public relations director.
Not quite. I've been burned by a 360 once. My 2nd 360 (now only four weeks old) is acting up right now. If this one dies, it's all over for me and the 360. The reason you see so many of these article is b/c there are a lot of faulty 360's. When MS runs out of 'coffins' for their defective units, you know the return rate is high. So take off the MS colored glasses and cross your fingers, your's may be next.
hooray beer!
I'm sure that every company (MS, SONY, Nin) have fansites/websites/blogs that list polls. If you aren't a member of vgoa.com or don't frequent it, why does that really matter? It's an opinion poll for people who visit that site. They can't exactly make everyone go. The poll accomplished what it set out to do though I guess b/c it is getting more traffic than it usually does by people who are for some reason upset that they included a poll on their website.
It's videogames peop...
How do you quantify how many "fanboys" are on one site or another? What qualifies one as an xbot, or fonysonyfanboy, or a nintendolt? 99.9% of any ONLINE poll is substantially skewed. Go start a poll on a 360 fansite and find out what they think, we'll combine the two figures and divide...will that be scientific enough for all fanboys to accept?
It's really nothing to get bent out of shape on. Just look at the sales figures. Not attach rates, just simple sales figure...
For those interested in using mic support, they can start a room for people with "mic's." It's very easy.
I agree that there is plenty of work to be done, but it isn't absolutely terrible. Few console games require a mic for successful online play (Gears) while in other games it's just a matter of skill. Voice support is nice, I'd prefer all games to have it on the PS3 w/0 a doubt, but it doesn't kill my experience.
Hopefully, the Atari rehashes will no longer make it to the PSN w/ the exception of Food Fight.
Your best bet to get in is to register with the Playstation Underground.
I hope to get the invite...won't know until after 5pm today. I probably won't.
I actually liked their commercials.
Blu Ray = not Sony proprietary.
It's a shame that they even acknowledge this. I still feel Jack Thompson is somehow behind this.
This is my favorite online level to play as well.
Hot Shots is actually a very fun game.
Seeing that it's likely you've never played it I highly doubt you are qualified to judge it. The gaming press was very pleased with the game (As AM I) in all aspects. Is it perfect? No. Is it a great next gen launch title? Yes.
Back to topic, this is likely a money grab situation.
Either that or a very uninformed person who was alerted by Jack Thompson behind the scenes.
Do not buy Shadowrun. Rent it if you need something different to play, but it is not worth $60. My thirst for something new led me to buy this. I enjoyed it for the first few days, but it became stale quickly. With no single player, only 3 game types, no stat keeping and some subpar tech (poor animations, graphics, sound) the game falls short of being a $60 value.
Of a Beta related/unrelated note, EBgames/Gamestop dropped the trade in value of Crackdown to $14 US. You'd be bet...
I'm with you there man. My new one is almost a month old. (fingers crossed)
Man, the 360 fanboys have really hit my bubble total hard. Such a sad state of affairs gaming has become.
