have people realized by now we don't own the stuff we pay for anymore, but lease?
top notch article from a top notch website.
Well there goes the last bit of integrity G4 had.
i guess this means one more hour of COPS reruns
it was a request from thousands of fans. they have little experience with PC. this could be the motive to make them look at it more seriously from now own. get off your own ego
nope. FROM hasn't lost any respect from anyone that wasn't a fickle fan anyways.
FROM is a small company. they aren't a huge company like EA/Activision/Ubisoft.
every game they make has to be calculated for cost because a wrong move could make them go under easy.
I was sad at the news of the PC port, but i will still support FROM because they are coming out with unique content for hardcore gamers.
they aren't ...
the last xbox live increase was due to pressure from EA threatening to pull their titles. i doubt EA has the pull it had before with its stock going down the drain.
there is no controversy regarding the game's gay characters.
ME1 came out a long time ago, they had their time in the fox news spotlight, and that was that.
to suddenly come out now and say there is some sort of controversy after ME1-3 and Dragon Age so close to the ME3 bad PR stuff just screams to me like EA is trying to distract the general public.
EA doesn't want their investors to find out the true reasons, so they are creating a ...
even if you only sell 1 console a week, it's still technically "growing". we need some sort of parameter to know if it's "healthy" growth.
long story short, neogaf is where a majority of the industry has an account, from all levels.
all the way from the lowly coder to even someone like david jaffe.
The story had intrigue, mature plot, and alluring conflict. Too bad this always happened off-screen and your characters were always in some cave away from all this action.
It was a good RPG, but a bad Final Fantasy. does that make sense?
it was the first FF title i had to force myself to finish.
You know i don't place the blame on Bioware. I place the blame sorely on EA who has a leash on Bioware.
This is what happens when you let a megapublisher acquire known talent. It's not illegal to make profits, but you have to realize that everything will go to crap when you have investors who would rather burn and destroy a loved series than receive less money.
they would destroy a fanbase if it meant the difference between 15% and 17% profit. 2% prof...
the 5 minute photoshop didn't make any alarms go off?
I will support it because the more variety in consoles the better, because it seems to me Microsoft and Sony are heading down a path that i fear will ultimately hurt the gaming industry. we need some fresh air.
THEY FORGOT TO MENTION THE PART WHERE THE CHARACTER DIALOGUE WAS LEAKED BACK IN NOVEMBER
Not cut from the game my ass.
you know, i don't think what they said was controversial. or, at the very least, the point they were trying to make isn't coming across like they wanted.
i think it's just a case of them saying something and it coming out the wrong way. Kinda hard to tell without the entire interview to see under what context this was said.
i will say though, this was just a very weird comment to make. i can barely understand what it is they are trying to say... ...
there's a major difference between raiden/blanka, who can do localized thunder attacks VS Cole who can control a lighting blast over a wide area smartasses
and Cole, a super powered being who can summon down thunder and do high intensity electrical moves makes sense to put in a fighting game?
well, do other countries have black friday?
i can somewhat defend EA using the famous story:
The Scorpion and the Frog is a fable about a scorpion asking a frog to carry him across a river. The frog is afraid of being stung during the trip, but the scorpion argues that if it stung the frog, the frog would sink and the scorpion would drown.
The frog agrees and begins carrying the scorpion, but midway across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both. When asked why, the scorpi...
