we know MGS4 and FF13 will be good because we are all psychics.
i mean, forget the fact that MGS2 almost made the entire videogame industry piss themselves with rage, or how FF12 tops the list in most boring/hated FF in user polls...
GUARANTEED HITS!
they will redeem themselves with MGS4
LOL AM I RITE?
i mean, it's not like Kojima is going to pull an MGS2 and try and "surprise" the fanbase with some existential move to try and force the industry to mature through experimentation using his own game's hype.
screw curing Cancer, we can put these guys' skills to better use... passing battletoads!
since i always associate sports games with "lol same game since 2002 with only updated stats"
yet i've bought every single Dynasty Warriors game/version since DW2....
i should jump off a bridge.
i just can't beat his popularity and chun li special parrying skills D:
EDIT:
i can't wait to try my ikaruga skills on xbox live.
protip: i have been playing Ikaruga since the dreamcast version, and i still can't get past the 1st stage without dying once or twice
and silent ran out of reasons too quickly
i kid i kid!
don't you think?
not to mention conceited statement.
but then n4g would die :(
but i am even more amazed people still misspell "Mortal Kombat"
we also get stuck with a cesspool of crap games on both :p
When Gears of War came out, people were shocked a 3rd person shooter could handle so well and provide such an immersive experience.
it was another great effort by a developer that a great shooter can happen on a console, not just PCs.
everything about gears was new and shiny. then comes the PC version which made, if you think about it, minimal upgrades. better graphics and a couple new chapters, but still the same gears.
i think 1up got caught up...
don't you want to wait till ff13 is actually released to claim it's the best?
remember halo 2 being claimed the best game ever? MGS2? FF12? Killzone?
etc etc....
will finally have meaning?
that hobo who i pre-ordered from was right!
i didn't believe him when he told me the world would end in 2001, but i'm sure he was right about Dude Nukem coming out in '08
now this is going to turn into a political flamewar
It is a tasteless game that brings nothing more than a bad image to the videogame industry.
i am all for freedom of expression. i am all for artistic freedom. i am all for supporting the right to govern our own ratings system.
but manhunt 2 does not strive to be artistic or meaningful. there is nothing essential about it. It doesn't enhance the views of those who love this hobby. it doesn't innovate the evolving storytelling of videogames, now comparable to ...
great big AAA games come out, and you give semi-decent sales to the crappy ones like Lair, yet Rachet and Clank fizzles out around the 75k mark.
and Uncharted isn't doing too good either.
but the 360 is still outselling it overall.
ps3 might sell 50k in japan and 360 only 5k, but when 360 is selling 180k and ps3 on 120k, it doesn't take a math genius to know the 360 is selling more overall.
you know how i can tell a paid astro turfer?
when they think its cute to spout the slogan at the end of every sentence.
anytime i see someone put "PLAY BEYOND" or "JUMP IN" at the end of the sentence, it makes me die a lil inside.
is that usually electronic devices as complex as videogame consoles have factories that have the product on a moving belt with robotic arms handling the putting-together of the most sensitive parts, various employees in coats overlooking the machinery, and overall a tidy environment.
not looking like a disorganized garage.
EDIT: Now that i look at it, these pics resemble more a repair center than a manufacturing center.
