The worst part about this is that CD Projekt intends to begin developing multiple projects simultaneously beginning in 2022 when they had damn near a decade to get CB2077 out the door and well we all know how that turned out.
It appears CD Projekt has not learned their lesson and even appear to be doubling down in order to recoup financial losses. As things stand, I don't see this ending very well for them unless they find a suitable merger/acquisition.
Definitely gonna be a CGI trailer with overly dramatic music and a few 2-second snippets of "gameplay" interwoven for good measure.
Still fighting the good fight holding out hope, I see? Respect
People that complain about current music "sounding the same" clearly do not listen to enough music imo. There's more than ever out there due to the digital era (Spotify, as you mentioned) and you'll definitely find something you love if you take time to look (listen?) past what's on mainstream radio.
This article must be some kind of bad joke. The author asserts that Playstation is making the "same game" in terms of first party titles simply because they share the same third-person action adventure genre? It's funny because this can be said about pretty much most of the biggest games out there today. Don't believe me? Ok, then I'd like to know your take on titles from Ubisoft or even Rockstar...
That is the basis for Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. But as somebody who has played the AC series from the beginning, the first and second games setup a very intriguing plot (at least for me) that was derailed with every successive release seemingly because the devs/writers had no idea where to take the story.
Once Origins released, I was fully convinced that they are no longer interested in continuing the overarching plot in the series. Assassin's Creed has essentially...
Definitely. The gameplay is so addicting but be prepared for a bit of a steep learning curve. Also, the voice chat can be pretty damn hostile with toxic players which I feel there are lots of in R6S. It's incredibly rewarding when you can work with a good team tho. I recommend it.
This is encouraging news considering Zampella has been on something of a hot streak with his last few projects and is in charge of this game. It seems like anything he's involved in these days turns out rather successful.
I'd be interested when it drops to half price since I'm only interested in half of the game. Tbh I'm surprised the SP campaign has received lots of praise and it actually seems well-done as opposed to being a tacked-on afterthought which most GaaS titles tend to do.
As for the online portion? I've grown much too weary of games wanting me to grind for hours upon hours for rewards that hardly ever really seem all the effort. Grinding is ok but requiring a ridi...
Is it fair to say that I'm not all that surprised by this? The game always seemed destined to become heavily monetized considering the format the development team used. Just another GaaS title unfortunately...
That's what she said
I find it difficult to believe Rockstar can't monetize Midnight Club which is a series that implements plenty of aesthetic customization. I can see them adding an item store with "Epic", aka premium, car parts or at least something similar to that.
Hopefully they don't go this route since I've always really loved Midnight Club as they're always quality games. Need For Speed has consistently failed to scratch my racing game itch ever since the origi...
Gameplay-wise I think the series is genuinely improving upon the older titles. That being said, there is no longer a cohesive overarching narrative that gives context to the characters you play as or the actions you perform.
Simply put, I enjoy the new AC titles but just wish Ubisoft would put a little more effort into the story aspect.
Uhhh, what? Lol That seems totally irrelevant to Eternal's success but hey to each their own.
Only thing holding me back from buying it myself is the lack of a traditional team deathmatch mode. I'm wishing like crazy they add it soon but they seem fully committed to that whole 2v1 mode, which actually does look fun but disappointed at the fact that I'm not provided the option.
I would recommend either calling your local store to figure out the specifics of your circumstances or worst case you could also pull up with the remaining amount owed when you go to pickup your pre-order.
No reason to worry as I seriously doubt GameStop will flat out keep your money and pre-order copy. If anything, you'll receive the game later than expected which tbh is not that big a deal in light of the world's current dire situation.
It feels weird to say this since COD isn't exactly my cup of tea but I'm actually enjoying Warzone. Gunplay feels good and the map variation caters to both close quarters and long-range. The Gulag is also an interesting concept that I think adds plenty to the game mode. So far it's a solid 7-8/10 for me.
Michael Pachter is a joke and quite literally the WORST video game industry analyst. Even HipHopGamer was more accurate than this dude and that's saying A LOT.
Give me a revival of NFL Street please! Or at the very least Blitz, preferably Street though lol
Yea and then watch developers blame gamers for not "supporting" their new titles a.k.a. betas.
Since when did it become too much to ask for a properly functioning video game that is sold at full price at launch? If the game isn't ready to be released then delay it. This is simply bad business practice on their behalf.
Well at least T-Pain is a gaming enthusiast and has some classics.
