Always took Master Chief for the No Nonsense type of guy so yea the tone feels strange in this game.
Everything looks like it's being very well executed for this one. Although I will say I prefer the original armor to their redesign, but that's just me being nitpicky. Can't wait to play it!
Does it finally make the game fun tho?
As a fan of the series, this reboot feels strange. Almost like they want to make it a little more family friendly but the cast just doesn't mesh with the concept of building a gang through murder and other crime. They look out of place. It just feels really off overall...
Completely agree! For me, it practically became second nature in Bethesda games to create multiple manual saves every time I felt I had progressed a good deal.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was amazingly fun but I played it local co-op. Truly underrated imo and would love a third game.
If the game still isn't entirely fixed after such a long development time, a few delays and one year post-launch??? Then yes it's absolutely necessary to have both teams working on it. Disgraceful, but we already know where CDprojekt's priorities lie. 2077's state at release taught us that.
"What? Do you guys not have phones???"

Blue Box's track record speaks for itself. Besides, Hasan ain't exactly helping himself with the overly ambiguous teases that implied certain things (Out of focus man with eye patch).
I started it about a month ago and was immediately impressed by the cutscenes, characters, and the story got me hooked quite literally from the beginning. Been playing it on and off lately but definitely one of the best games I've played in a while. It's one of those that make me feel dumb for not jumping into the series sooner, pleasantly surprised.
Tbh I believe we would be better off without Activision seeing as how they have perpetrated and popularized the worst aspects of the industry such as microtransactions and other anti-consumer practices. They have no respect for their customers or workforce and only care about maximizing profits which IMO has led to a toxic workplace culture. I'm sure many of their employees would find work seeing as how their problem is a lack of quality management and not developer talent.
Got this game on my radar for sure. The most impressive thing to me is the fluidity of the character's movement. Sifu makes something as simple as hopping over a table look so damn cool and smooth, there's just something appealing about that to me. And it goes without saying the action looks awesome. I'm ok with this delay, devs are evidently working hard on it and I can't wait to play.
Valhalla was as Assassin's Creed as it gets? Oh so Desmond makes an appearance and gets the whole templars vs assassins narrative back on track? Because to many fans THAT was the lasting appeal of the series and it gave context to the settings and events we experienced vicariously through Desmond's ancestors. Without this, Ubisoft may as well just call the franchise History Simulator...
Throwing in some Captain Planet-like message would be the very definition of pushing an agenda though...
Companies like CD Projekt blatantly lying to their consumers and attempting to sell half-assed, barely functional products at full price is what's truly getting ridiculous and old.
Not sure if it means anything but if you go to Bluepoint's official website they have a mini intro that shows Playstation Studios logo followed by their own logo.
I agree with your sentiments and this is why I've always been frugal with my video game purchases. I buy maybe 1-3 titles on launch day per year, maximum. Everything else can wait because quite frankly I don't think I'm missing out on anything by skipping the latest Far Cry, AC, CoD, etc...
At this point, I practically wait about a year or two to buy a game I was on the fence about. Nothing like buying a "GOTY" edition with way less bugs/glitches and t...
Guess I'm gonna have to wait a couple months until it's on sale. Fewer and fewer games are actually worth full price these days considering how broken they launch and how long it takes to get them running properly after patches.
Best we can do is vote with our dollars and not support this. If people think that doesn't work, I'd like to remind them of a time when we had full $60 games offering $40-$60 season passes before release and before even knowing what DLC exactly was planned for the pass. I know I'm not buying this egregious cash grab.
I love Halo and want to feel hyped but I can't shake the impression that this looks like Halo crossed with the patented Far Cry formula. It's a bit disappointing tbh
