That's how I feel. I wish there was a game where tactics and strategy actually matters. Having some soldiers give some suppressive fire while a couple snipe incoming enemies and some man artillary for extra support. A game that simulates REAL warzones would be great.
Kinect doesn't seem very impressive to me. It looks like he's playing on a Wii, but I guess I'll just have to try it myself before I judge.

wow what world do you live in? not the real world apparently because the RROD is STILL around. as a matter of fact my friend's 360 just got the RROD. he's actually considering getting a PS3 now as that was his 4th 360 to bite the dust. and he's not the only one of my friends that recently lost their 360s to RROD. of course the PS2 had failures also (as does the PS3) but it was nowhere near as horrible as the 360.

Rising is supposed to explain Raiden's story and what he went through prior to MGS4. yes it's a spinoff but thats not an excuse to halfass it. they should put full effort into telling Raiden's story. so we can only hope that it turns out great and proves all doubters (including me) wrong.
this just kinda makes it sound like they're catering to the casual gamer who cares nothing for the story and just wants to play the action. hopefully this wont be the case as MGS is masterful at storytelling and to cut this aspect out of Rising would certainly seem much less apealing to me.

the way i see it, the 360 only has 3 worthwhile games. Halo, Gears, and Mass Effect. once i finish those games i would see no reason to even own a 360. ly be my PS3 satisfies the majority of my gaming needs. and if i know MS, their new IPs will most likely be shooters
360 graphics? is that supposed to be a good thing? anyways, graphics do not make a good game. people need to wake up and stop obsessing over this facet of video games, maybe then the industry will recognize that we want gameplay and not just pretty games. although having at least decent graphics couldnt hurt
