Sony has actually been pretty great at not letting games cannibalize each other. But 2016 will be way more challenging than most for Sony
Wow there are so many PS4 games in 2016...I personally can't wait for Horizon, Ni-Oh, Nier:Automata, Ratchet & Clank, Gravity Rush 2 & of course Uncharted 4 & MLB 16
1) Witcher 3 -- 3D Open World is harder on graphics than 3D Linear
2) The Order -- 3D Linear is harder on graphics than 2D side-scroller
3) Until Dawn -- 3D Linear is harder on graphics than 2D side-scroller
4) Ori & The blind forest -- Best looking 2D side-scroller
PS4 will literally be dropping something for every type of gamer in 2016...Its gonna be CRAZY!
I'm personally looking forward to Uncharted 4, Gravity Rush (Remaster & 2), Ratchet & Clank, MLB, Horizon, HellBlade, Nier Automata & Ni-Oh.....AND THEN I'm sure there are some multiplats I'll have to pick up too
@PS_Family
Tons of multipats? LOL... Let me know how Horizon, MLB, Ratchet & Clank, Last Guardian, Ni-Oh, Nier Automata, Gran Turismo Sport, Gravity Rush 2, Dreams & Uncharted 4 play on your PC -- Now please throw as much salt at these games as you possibly can...LOL
(Thats 10 2016 PS4 exclusives that you'll have to hate on since you can't play them anywhere else)
@iqri
"xbox makes the best games anyways" -- LOL...Xbox actually makes (develops) very few games on the Xbox One. Come to think of it, outside of the numerous Halo, Gears & Forza sequels Xbox hasn't yet made (developed) a single AAA exclusive on the Xbox One.
@Fro_xoxo
You should care if your favorite games sell well. The higher a game sells the more likely a sequel happens & the sooner that sequel will be announced and come out (b/c Publishers & Developers will prioritize sequels of games that meet or beat sales expectations over games that don't).
PS4 Won: No Opinions...Just Facts [Keep in mind: Opinion of games don't change the facts]
1) PS4 had more **NEW** AAA exclusives release in 2015 (PS4=4 vs XB1=3)
2) PS4 had more AAA remasters released in 2015
3) PS4 had more indies released in 2015
4) PS4 in general had more games released in 2015
5) PS4 versions of most 2015 multiplatform games ran better than XB1 versions of the same games
Can't wait for all the flip-flopping
Both Uncharted 4 & Quantum Break were originally shown at E3 2013
Both Uncharted 4 & Quantum Break were originally pegged as a holiday 2015 release
Both Uncharted 4 & Quantum Break are now scheduled for an April 2016 release
Both fanboy bases have now flip-flopped the EXACT same statements from the Quantum Break Delayed announcement.
@Hazardman79
Its a shame that you didn’t understand my comment. I never knocked that guy for liking or disliking anything. I knocked him for talking down a list of games that another person was anticipating. As if all anticipated lists need to have his approval first
And as far as you reading every single comment i ever wrote…I dunno if I should be flattered or nervous
@Genuine-User
I LOVE how @Dockness says none of the games you listed excite him...As if they can no longer be considered games, or you can't bring up any games that he doesn't like
@lelo2play
1) I wasn't counting Xbox's small budget/indie titles (Below, Cuphead & Inside) because I didn't count PS4's small budget/indie titles (Alienation, Shadow of the Beast or The Witness) either.
2) Outside of Quantum Break no other Xbox exclusives have firm dates which mean they can be delayed further. PS4 has concrete release dates for 4 major exclusives early in 2016:
SF5 - Feb 16
Uncharted 4 - Mar 18
...
@lilo2play
While I agree that most of the games you listed will probably come out near the beginning of 2016, Quantum Break is the only Xbox game that has a confirmed date.
PS4 has confirmed dates for:
SF5 - Feb 16
Uncharted 4 - Mar 18
MLB The Show - Mar 29
Ratchet & Clank - Apr 12
Don't forget MLB 16 at the end of March
@ps4thewin -- "Sony only had 3 true exclusives all year" -- Actually 4 if you include Until Dawn (Bloodborne, MLB 15 & The Order being the other 3)
Meanwhile Xbox only had 2 true exclusives all year (Forza 6 & Halo 5)...Everything else was timed, remade or small budget/indie
@Docknoss
Actually the site the author is getting their info from is: http://www.metacritic.com/f...
And that statistically shows the PS4 had a better 2015 lineup than Xbox One
@Rookie_Monster
Either way, I'm glad that starting in January Season 1 Ultra will no longer be a rip-off for subscribers of Gold
@Rookie_Monster
If Season 1 Ultra Edition is still $40 (as of Dec 2015) then it was a complete rip-off...Seeing as though Season 2 Ultra Edition is also $40 ( https://store.xbox.com/en-U... ) which includes more fighters.
But I'm glad Season 1 Ultra Edition is free since its $40 price tag up until now i...
Good selection of games...especially if you haven't done much gaming last generation
Flop? Like not sell great? Do sales make you like or dislike a game more or less?
