I'm not sure why some people think Sony can't put out a console that played the previous generation's games? My launch PS3 played PS2 games...So it entirely possible the PS5 can play PS4 games

You might be right but there's no telling what the nature of the Marvel/Sony/Insomniac deal. It can range anywhere from what you suggested all the way up to being as powerful a deal that Sony now owns Spider-man rights on console (the same way EA owns Star Wars rights on consoles)...Nobody knows
Unfortunately ReCore might underperform like Sunset Overdrive did since its likely to get overshadowed like Sunset did.
I doubt this game comes out in 2016. If it releases in October it will be overshadowed by Gears & Battlefield 1. If it releases in November it will be overshadowed by CoD & Titanfall 2. And before people tell me its not like any of those games, neither was Sunset Overdrive & it didn't do as well as it could b/c it was surrounded by way bigger games. So it would have to release by the end of September & I don't see a AAA releasing within 3.5 months from the very fir...

PS4 has been doing cross-platform (Final Fantasy XIV:Realm Reborn, DC Online, Street Fighter 5, etc), And while the PS4 doesn't have backwards compatibility the launch PS3 (nicknamed "Fatty") was Back compat at launch.

How in the world do you know what ReCore is. You might be right, but I haven't seen a single thing that indicates what type of game ReCore is
But PSVR (and any/all needed hardware) will have a better price point. That will probably still make it the market leader

You gotta realize, Microsoft & Sony use E3 for different (yet effective) purposes. Microsoft shows off what they're releasing this year (with a couple delays into 2017). Sony shows off what they have beyond this year. That doesn't mean Microsoft doesn't have things for 2017 & beyond. Just like it doesn't mean Sony doesn't have retail releases for the rest of 2016. Two different styles, neither right, neither wrong
