PS4 got them SUPER legs. And like @italiangamer broke down, the PS4 is going to keep pushing more and more. And the PlayStation division is really strong, so thats looking great too.
Looking forward to all the rest of the PS4 games in 2016...and then there's a bunch in 2017!!!
PS4 got them SUPER legs...Keep it up Sony
You make a great point. I am wondering what's taking MS so long with their owned and published 360 titles though. Some have music licensing issues, from what I gather. But I got a copy of Crackdown 1 that I'd love to play
Sorry for repeating my comment b/c I replied to the wrong person:
@TheHorseTamer
You obviously missed the point of the article. Would the 360 Slim have done as good IF Microsoft announced the following, more powerful, console at the same time as the slim (that would release 1 year later)? Thats what the article is essentially asking.

Paragraphs 8 & 9 really show the difference between Microsoft's 49M Live users & PlayStation's 20M PS+ users
(the former is the total number of people who used the Xbox Live store, while the latter is how many people are actually paying for PlayStation's subscription service)
@ape007 "But yeah MS have done a GREAT job with the Games With Gold, much better than PS PLUS!!" -- Now this is an insecure fanboy comment.
BTW, NBA 2K16 (PS Plus game in June 2016) was a WAY bigger offering than The Crew (Games w/Gold game in June 2016)
You do know how a court of law works, dont you? The person making the accusation has to prove their case. The accused doesn't have to dis-prove a claim until facts/proof are presented. No facts or proof have been presented as of now...
Thus, He Said vs He Said...Thus, business as usual until proof dictates otherwise
True...But just because the accuser makes the accusation doesn't prove anything either
I don't think Microsoft is too worried about their holiday line-up because I think its good. But it is true that PS4 has more retail exclusives left this year & for the whole year in total (not to mention all but 2 Playstation games (SFV & NMS) need Playstation hardware to enjoy):
Microsoft RETAIL Exclusives FOR 2016 (Already out or Dates confirmed)
Quantum Break - Out Now
ReCore - Sept 13, 2016
Forza Horizon 3 - Sept 27, 2016
@game4funz -- "VR needs to be run at high frames which I doubt the vanilla playstation can do very well.
So if youre going to buy PSVR youll most likely regret not getting PS Neo."
Having spent plenty time trying PSVR on the vanilla PS4 the frame rate is just fine...I doubt many people will regret getting PSVR on the standard PS4
@donthate
You also get much more from a Lambo or Ferrari than the average sports car. But the vast majority of people still purchase based on what they can afford. Seeing as though VR is & will always be a luxury item, the most affordable will probably be the market leader (regardless of features or content)
This is directed at people who wonder why PS4 doesn't have a larger percentage of Ubisoft's software sales
You guys do know that this was for the April-May-June quarter, right? And you do know Sony released a game (or 2) during that quarter that may have taken some attention away from Ubisoft's games, right?
Nintendo will NOT outsell PS4 or Xbox One this fall.
Why? Not for lack of demand...but lack of supply.
Because Nintendo will do a horrible job of keeping up with demand for the NES Mini...THe NES Mini will sell out and have large gaps of time were the device will not be available. However, there will be no such supply constraints for the base model PS4 or Xbox One this fall causing i to sell more than the NES Mini.
@Metallox
Of course Nintendo should go third party...Do you really think Nintendo would have made this kinda money if Pokemon Go was just on 3DS? Not even close. It was because the game was on iOS & Android that Nintendo made all that money. Nintendo's software is great, it's just artificially held down by their hardware.
Listen, this "packed rest of the year" statement Aaron G is saying is just spin...What does a packed holiday lineup have to do with not showing the game at E3? I mean they showed other 2017 games (Scalebound, Halo Wars 2, Sea of Theives) at E3, right? So why wasn't Crackdown 3 at E3?
Answer: Crackdown 3 will not be ready by holiday 2016...Whether holiday 2016 is packed or not
Crackdown 3 isn't ready for a holiday 2016 release. Saying the fall lineup is too packed is just Aaron G's spin. Think about it, if the game were gonna be ready this holiday & the packed lineup is whats pushing it to 2017 then why didn't we see the game at E3? I mean, we saw other 2017 Xbox games at E3 (Halo Wars 2, Scalebound, Sea of Thieves). And if it were going to be ready this holiday (but not released b/c of a packed lineup) whats stopping the beta from being release...
@Ck1x
You can't deny that fanboys on both sides want games generally looked at as "fun" and/or "good" to be related to their preferred console. And want games generally looked at as "not fun" and/or "not good" to be related to the other console.
Therefore, the "PlayStation side" want this game to be generally accepted as "fun" and or "good" since its so established as a "PlayS...
@Kribwalker -- Please re-read my comment and then read below...
There are months where Xbox releases retail exclusives & there are months where Xbox does not release retail exclusives. In October 2015 Xbox won NPD & in that same month they released an exclusive (Halo 5). Now can you please name the last month when Xbox won NPD when they DID NOT release a retail exclusive.......Hint: Its been over a year
**BONUS TRIVIA**...There have only been 3 ...
@sleepless_gamer - "so we shouldn't be playing demon's souls, uc3, resistance, gt5 anymore?????"
Nobody's saying don't play them anymore. Just fire up your PS3 & play them. Sony should focus all their attention & engineering power on the 8th generation.
