@Immorals
Xbox wasn't going sell more than PS4 in June even if they didn't announce any consoles. How do I know? Because it didn't have an exclusive release in June. And Its been over a year since Xbox outsold PS4 on NPD when they didn't have an exclusive release that month.
@DarkWolf_NZ -- "The sales have gone through the roof in july. Since all the cheap bundles and red dead redemption. U will see next month.
Just look on amazon sales up majorly."
ROFLOL...Please stop DarkWolf_NZ
As of Thursday July 14th on Amazon's JULY MONTHLY chart the top PS4 console is #20...While the top Xbox console is #62 (source: 3514d ago 63 agree8 disagreeView comment
@DarkWolf_NZ "I wouldnt be surprised if xbox takes july but august is no question xbox will take it."
Of course, like most console predictors, IF/WHEN your wrong you won't want anybody to bring up that you said this.

"When Rise of the Tomb Raider is released on PS4 later on this year, that is not a new release on PS4? " -- No
"When Rocket League was released on XB1 earlier this year, that wasn't a new release on that platform?" -- No
Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 & Rocket League on XB1 will have new places to play those games but they won't be NEW releases (since they were already available). And if y...
@TheHorseTamer
I know its fashionable now-a-days for people to redefine things to suit their purpose, but "new release" has a specific definition. It means something new for the general public at one time. Just because people haven't played [fill in the old game here] doesnt make it a "new release". It makes it a game that person (or those people) never played. And its great that they can now experience the game, but that doesn't make it a &q...
@DaDrunkenJester "A new trailer that shows the same exact boring shit all the other trailers have shown?"
Your statement proves that you have no clue what this game is about.

Most companies have a lot riding on their most profitable division. Thats what most companies do (direct resources away from their money loosing divisions and toward their money making divisions). Why is cutting divisions that lose money a bad thing?
Sony's in a better position than they were recently in for the sheer fact that they aren't loosing money on money draining divisions. Yes there are less assets/less resources but there are also less money draining divisions that need those assets/resources.
@Sonyslave3 "Nintendo is worth more then sony which is sad." -- Wrong...There is no independently verifiable source you can use to prove this statement because they all prove the opposite.
I actually dont see this as good for Microsoft. They should want every gamer interested in Microsoft published IP to buy an Xbox. For a couple reasons:
1) Microsoft is investing in the hardware (hardware R&D, and hardware Marketing & Advertising), so they should want to recoup as much of those expenses as they can.
2) Microsoft can't make Xbox Live subscription revenue from people who dont buy Microsoft hardware
3) Gaming...
I am happy that people are liking Inside. GOTY is a bit steep. BUT...I'm glad that more people are finding the value of games that aren't just cookie cutter "AAA" games, even if some of the praise is coming from people who said "indie" games don't matter (specifically when they were more known on a device that they didn't prefer).

"Sony execs also said Neo is going to be priced at a premium also." -- I never said Neo wouldn't have a premium price as well.
Sorry, but this Microsoft Executive's statement does not lend itself to a $499 price tag. Now you can disagree, but I'm simply going off t...
Shannon Loftis (Microsoft's general manager of Microsoft Studios Global Publishing), she said "We're not talking about price right now, but it is a more premium piece of hardware." ...$499(moderate console launch price) doesn't seem to warrant that kind of statement.

I'm pretty sure it'll be more than $499 since Shannon Loftis (Microsoft's general manager of Microsoft Studios Global Publishing) said ""We're not talking about price right now, but it is a more premium piece of hardware." ...When you reference "premium piece of hardware" when talking about price, its usually going to be expensive.

I get what your saying about playable on the show floor. But since 99% of gamers wont ever see the show floor for themselves, most of us will only go by what was shown in the press conferences. And by that measurement, Sony won
