I also will be getting all 3, as well as Darksiders. What pains me the most is the lack of... I don't know, style to this game. It feels so 90's. I'd much prefer more influence from Albrecht Durer's woodcuts for the style.

A game doesn't need to be innovative to be great. It just needs to do what it does well, and if it's a sequel, please its fans. I think Halo is fun, but I'm not a huge fan. I like the mythology more than the games themselves. Reach WILL be huge, but since I'm not its target audience, I don't really care. No amount of marketing or hype or promises can really change that. Nor am I a racing sim fan, so I don't care about GT5 either. However, I do respect that both franchises are juggernauts and ...
Sorry, this year was amazing for gamers. Hell, I had to put off 3 titles until they go cheaper, simply because of a lack of time to play all these great games. And Spring of 2010 looks to slaughter my wallet further.

I sold mine long ago. IF I had the free time, I'd pick one up for NSMBW and Prime Trilogy, easily.
Indeed. I was disappointed to find the PC version cancelled, or delayed, or whatever. I think the light/dark dynamic is pretty awesome.

People don't buy quality. They buy the next hyped trash like MW2. (Is the online even working yet?) Disappointing, but in the end, thankfully it doesn't ruin my enjoyment of ANY title. =)
