For once I agree with you.
My ONE worry is the control layout. I hope its good, or at least somewhat mappable, as Platinum usually goes with some odd choices (or no choices at all).
But yeah, this and CV are my most anticipated fall titles. I have no interest in Reach or GT5.
Some stuff in that vid that constitute spoilers, watch out guys!
Einhander, Xenogears, Omega Boost, Brave Fencer, Parasite Eve 1 and 2...
Still waiting on the pre-1.05 health patch lab! >_<
Thanks pirates. You're a bunch of dumbfVcks.
Yup, damned if you do...
Is this article saying people own a 360 because they enjoy available on the 360?
....common sense much?
IGN is trolling you all for fanboy hits.
Both systems are great.
Fact.
They increased replayability while at the same time killing secrets, cheats, and unlockables for most games. =(
SOTN is near perfect. Only a lame final boss ruins it for me.
IF they're this willing to change their vision, I'll tell you right now, they weren't so deadset on the "new" vision from the outset then.
NewOld Cole >>>>> New Cole Drake, IMHO.
Indeed. Watching people argue over grass is just great man.
No dialogue.
No real plot.
No character development.
Mostly linear.
Tons of backtracking.
No MP!
Can be finished in less than 5 hours.
And yet still, it really is one of the greatest games of all time and a staple of my collection. Infinitely replayable. What has been lost this gen that prevents people from replaying great titles for fun I ask!
This is why I like Kotaku's review SYSTEM, if not always their reviews.

Perfect system. No stupid scores or guessing games. A review is an opinion, but I expect it to be at least ACCURATE. Efficient? Well then, its just an impression if the entire experience is incomplete, no?
I'm all for it for out of print games. But when Gamestop is making insane profit 3 days after release because someone thought it was smart to trade in their $59.99 for $20, thus eating into new sales... well I don't agree with that.
People still have the gall to wonder why so many devs play it safe instead of taking chances lately.
Well said. Someone gets it.
Let me know the next time you buy a new car, then return it within 3 days for something else, while only getting less than 50% of the MSRP you paid for it, in a transaction that takes under 4 minutes to complete, okay?
I love how all of these articles only look at tiny, compartmentalized portions of this situation instead of the big picture. THQ's statement may have been poor, but the current market setup is not sustainable, period.
That "expansion" also outsold such GOTY contenders as Alan Wake and ME2, two great games.
Maybe you should stop complaining and actually go out and support some titles yourself.
