As a fan of certain series, I will diss the developers for pulling this exclusive DLC and timed exclusive crap. Who suffers? The fans. Right now I see a lot of GTA and Fallout fans who own a PS3 getting shafted, and I see a lot of Tales and Ninja Gaiden fans who own a 360 getting shafted. And yet, fanboys rush to the defense of MS, Sony, or Nintendo for these practices that are in no way good for the FANS of these games? Yeah, real smart.

I pity people who cling to sales, regardless of what console you back or what games you prefer. All of the fun is being sucked out of gaming communities because people are petty, jealous, and spiteful fools who actually swallow sales data and attach ratios as these mega-companies toss them out like scraps to rabid dogs.

360 man, I'd like to once again thank you and your fellow 360 owners for beta testing unfinished titles for us on your 360, you guys are the best. Thankfully, I know when I buy the superior PC and PS3 editions of such titles as Gears of War, Tales of Vesperia and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, I'm getting the complete and superior experience. Kudos to you man.

UE3 is played out. It's all flash and no substance in many cases. Walk towards any glowing light in the caves in Gears 2, it's just a post processing effect, it won't dynamically light your character in most cases. Hell most of their explosions and fire effects are nothing more than 2d. Great game, aged engine.
The 360 is not played out however, it would be foolish to assume that. The question is, who will step up? I think the first truly impressive non-UE3 based game will be Ala...

He's right. So many titles have gone multiplatform from both systems. It's just the way of the world, as game development costs are hitting an all time high, you need to reach the largest fanbase possible. If it means more good games and keeps quality studios afloat, no one should be complaining. I still don't think people realize how few titles make back their money or how few titles hit 1 million units sold.
I thought MGS4 was "just a bloated, overrated movie?" Why should PS3 owners care about Xbox 360 owners getting "leftovers?"

Lovely character work however, definitely. Disappointing, however, that I need to wait until probably Fall of 2010 to play this... I have the feeling it's going to be upstaged visually by GoW3, Alan Wake, and Uncharted 2 before it even releases. Oh well, as long as it's a great title with a lot of sidequests, I don't think I'll care at the time.

PSN is doing great with unique titles. However, I'd LOVE to see it also get more PS1 titles, as well as more established releases such as Ikaruga and TMNT the arcade game, which Live does very well.
Please be less than $5.
Psyched for this game. They look to be taking the criticism to the first game seriously. Woohoo.
