I kinda miss the old days where I could focus on a single shooter. I can't do more than one or two MP games at once, otherwise you fall behind, miss out the on the tricks and general flow of the community. There are TOO many FPS's out there that I would love to enjoy, it makes the choice so difficult!
I know the game is going to be fun as all hell, but these trailers are INCREDIBLY underwhelming visually. I can't believe it, I think COD4 STILL holds up... this looks WORSE somehow.
Prove me wrong IW, I know you can, and I know I'm going to lose another year to your title if your map design is as solid as it was in CoD4. Just please, PLEASE get us some better online support, matchmaking, and host migration!
I dont care if its PS3 exclusive or multiplatform, a re-release of MGS4 with a few extra options (install all? trophies? VR missions?) would be so utterly win.

I guess. But most journalists and gamers have no clue what a game's budget is in actuality, or how much it needs to sell to break even, they just go by their assumptions. It just bugs the hell out of me, because it's THIS kind of lame early hyping that ends up tearing a great game down in reviews, when said game turns out to be great, but not "god like" and "everything the reviewer himself wanted."

This is absurd, how the media treats this stuff. The game is not out, has not been sold, and has not been reviewed... yet it's being labeled as a AAA title? That's just asinine, no matter what console/company it comes from. It also suggests that the other titles are what, of lesser quality, and its already known? That's just silly.
Pre-labeled media hype... so lame.I remember a few other shoe in exclusive AAA titles... hi there Lair. The term is crap even when applied retroactive...

Judging by Eurogamer being caught out, I'd say one hour is more than they have played any title they've reviewed.
1) Review scores are, have been, and always will be stupid.

Today has been a great news day for PS3 owners, (Fallout DLC, TRICO), but articles like this are really intended as flamebait. Just because God of War 3 looks bomb-ass amazing, doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to Alan Wake.

If true, terrible practice, charging for what's already on disc. Far too many companies do it, and it needs to stop. Still, you can't go by file size alone, especially if assets are being reused.
