People love to toss about how KZ2 or Halo 3 are the "king of FPS," yet I have yet to find any FPS outside MAYBE CoD4 that has given me HALF of the hours of fun I had with Goldeneye 007 and UT2004.
I'm way excited for... Alan Wake, whatever Kojima is working on... and well, I can't say what else, since I doubt they are announced yet. It's going to be a packed years for gamers on every console. Good time to be a part of this hobby!

These "leaks" are often planned.
I won't begin to try and argue the point that no hardware is perfect, because no hardware IS perfect. However, some interesting things I just have to note. Pretty much no where outside of blogs and this sh1tty website, do I see the term "YLOD" tossed about. No where. I can't recall ever seeing it on IGN, Gamespot, 1up, Kotaku, etc.
Also, I have to laugh at fanboys pathetic attempts to try to make the Ps3 failure seem to be anywhere near the league of the constant failu...
I like seeing them branch out, but I miss the old days. Tobal 2, Einhander, Musashi... those were amazing titles. Now??? Ugh... FF this and Spinoff that. Whatever... this looks meh...
I have to agree with him, I liked the gritty change. It was cool, in the same vein of Solid Snake actually aging.
Not to say this one is bad, but I'm curious about the change.

If you were a fan of the Timm/Dini-verse, The Animated Series,well... Mark Hamil's Joker was an icon for pretty much all of the 90s. His Joker had the iconic laugh while still being sadistic. I love Heath's portrayal, but Joker from TAS will always be tops for me.
I want to know what the deal with the mask is.
Regardless, this site is going to be a laugh riot, with either butthurt PS3 fanboys or butthurt 360 fanboys come end of E3.

If this came to the PS3, I'd gladly pick it up. I always felt that MGS and SC went well together, similar genre while being totally different.
Then again... if Syphon Filter PS3 turns out to be true... well, I'll be fine with that and AC2.
I wonder how tactical this will end up being... pulling guys off the side of buildings and all. Hopefully their map design is nicely vertical. Can't wait.

I'll say it again, looks worse than CoD4. Meh. How utterly disappointing. Please IW, don't let me down, I'd love to lose another year to your FPS awesomeness.
I'm watching the HD trailer. Look at the nasty shadows on the guy with the C4 strapped to him. Look at the low rez textures on the buildings in Rio. And again, the color saturation just makes it feel so... tacky. The explosions are still flat, and the effects like shattered glass look like a step backwards. The characters are nicely detailed if a bit normal map heavy.
I'm simply comparing this to CoD4, and I'm talking strictly visuals, not things like the cool helicopter ascent ...
Visually. Meh.
Scenario wise? Looks awesome.
Gameplay wise? That will depend on map design, changes to weapons, inclusion of vehicles, lag, etc. Can't wait to find out.

Visually, that looks awful. It suffers from the same problem Resistance 2 does, the color saturation just makes everything feel disjointed. It doesn't feel cohesive.
IW, what the hell guys? CoD4 looked better than this, and THAT is my beef.
On the flip side, if its as fun as CoD4... will that matter? Probably not. But these trailers have left me utterly underwhelmed so far.
Perfect score doesn't mean perfect game.
I dislike seeing gamers trying to attribute numerical scores to games. It's almost like, an insult to the game/developers when you dumb your opinion down like that.
