Because Lowcarb, clearly idiots who post on N4G know everything, and realize the game industry resides ENTIRELY on this site. Games appear magically to be judged and crapped on by fanboys and trolls, and the months/years spent on developing a game is a lie, and has no bearing on people's lives/careers in the slightest!

Yeah, once again... can everyone see why the gaming media is pathetic trash? Anyone get it yet? Or are you all still going to cling to your precious metacritic scores. PS3 and 360 fanboys need to pull the stick out of their asses and start focusing their hate towards the idiots in the game media/blogging scene for insulting great games and great developers, regardless of the console they dev for.

Hopefully these controls aren't shoehorned into larger titles. I can't stand motion controls frankly.
I really hope this game goes beyond Civil War and brings in a larger threat afterwards, such as Galactus or Apocalypse or Onslaught. Sure it would be backwards, but going from Civil War to Onslaught Saga would be the sh1t.

I have to wonder though, how this game would hold up? Nostalgia aside, the game was great for its time, but console FPS has advanced so much since then with the likes of Halo, CoD4, KZ2, etc...
I think something as simple as online play or the lack of an N64 controller would immensely change the playability/fun factor of the game.
That game is brought up at work at LEAST once a week man. That would be awesome.
If it hits PSN, I'll gladly pick it up. Shame it's not the SNES version though, that version was probably the most brilliant arcade port ever.

I was talking more about when the game hit, the shady dealings going on. You're right, it has nothing to do with continued popularity or sales. I'm disgusted with the media and shady practices, not Bungie or Halo.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of the game, those swag bags are real. Reviewers got free personal 360's for this title. That's something I don't think is entirely... what's the word I want... ethical.

Reading this entire thread makes me sad for people who fall for this media BS.
I don't understand this winning/losing crap.If anything I think the only measurement is a level of personal excitement or disappointment. For instance, being a PS3 owner, the news of FFXIII going multiplatform changed absolutely NOTHING for me and didn't sway me into buying a 360. Sure, it's a "megabomb" or some other media term, but I don't work at Sony or MS, that's their problem.
Hell, we aren't even getting the game until NEXT winter, so that will be 2 years since t...
