Are those games going to be downplayed here on N4G like the MS "games we know are coming" are? I doubt it.

I think MS had a great showing. The games look solid, and I will enjoy many of them!
But Aqua, the 360 is doomed and this is the final nail in the PS3's coffin! C'mon!

I'd much rather see Kojima Prod and Bungie working on something BESIDES Halo and MGS... I just... IDK, let these teams expand a little.

I think the only loss is when you get fans who are screwed over for one reason or another (GTA fans on PS3, Ninja Gaiden fans on 360).

It just seems like a lame point. I own a PS3 for example. I don't see how I'm losing anything if I still get to play MGS?

A gain for 360 only gamers doesn't equate to a loss for PS3 only gamers.

Of course, and I'm glad more gamers can enjoy the games! We shouldn't be limited in our 3rd party choices due to our console preference I feel. I'm just talking from my own point of view. Everyone's situation is different.
I thought it was a great show. The motion tech could be totally amazing if properly utilized.
But still, MS did nothing to make me want a 360. Just as I wish Kojima would do something BESIDES MGS, you have Bungie, a great team, working on two more Halos? C'mon. Once again, most of the titles shown I can get on the PC or PS3. Again, the biggest news was having an exclusive franchise go multiplatform... I can already get it where I'm at! That just doesn't sway me into spending $200...

I'd say they had a great show. Showed some solid games and amazing tech. No need to hate on them, gamers everywhere win. Now Sony and Nintendo need to step up.
All I know is, any gamer worth their salt, no matter their console preference, is going to have a hurting wallet this year and next.
My one disappointment? Fanboys being children on this site. That and monsters/supernatural in Alan Wake, I was really hoping for it to transcend and be a "mature" adult...

I think this is the best thing to come out of the whole conference. I love Minority Report, and this looks great! Less remotes the better! THink of future applications!
I like how every Xbox fanboy called MGS4 an overrated movie when the porting rumors were shot down time after time.

I'm happy about this. More gamers get to enjoy a great series and stop mindlessly bashing it because they cant have it on their precious XBox.
I just hope it doesn't try to fill in more story before MGS4. The Patriots arc should be left alone. Time for new adventures in a post-patriots world with Raiden.

I'm pretty impressed, I can't wait for this game. It seems so far away, but I trust the team to deliver a great experience.
I have to say though, ghosts/spirits? I'm kind of disappointed. The way it was being advertised, I expected a step away from the ghosts and goblins of Silent Hill to something just about PEOPLE. I'm sure the game can be "mature," I just REALLY didn't want to see any demons.
Oh well, let's see what happens! It can't come soon enough! ...
