I have played 3 multiple times and she was not a constant character in the game nor an intrinsic part of the gameplay.
The new GoW has a dedicated "kid button" in it, from what I understand, so it's hardly the same thing.

I find it really hard to believe that the crowd that loved the same God of War games that I love want the next game turned into a walking/babysitting simulator, but people are sure acting excited about it.
You don't have to understand, but trust me when I say I've been excited about this game from the first time I learned about it, and the beta was the most fun I've had playing a game in years.

I've played a ton over the past 3 betas and it's absolutely fantastic.
I think Monster Hunter World might already have that on lockdown, but this game is so unique I wouldn't be surprised if it wins some awards.

Playstation gamers don't know how to deal with a game that doesn't drag you along a set path while telling you a story.

1) I'm guessing most of them didn't play the beta themselves.
2) It's a freaking beta, most of the content wasn't in the beta. There is plenty of info out there about stuff that wasn't in the beta, but I suppose it's hard to find time to use google when you have to make sure you're on N4G to post the first negative comment on the next Sea of Thieves article.
No, PS4 Pro patches didn't cost anything, and I bet when people wrote about them, they probably used the word "free" in the title as well.
