I actually hate the location of the share and options buttons on the DS4. And the way they are recessed into the controller makes them hard to push sometimes. So saying that pushing Share never fails is not true in my case.
Plus I can call out "record that" without taking either thumb off of a stick or button.
Just my personal preference, but I love this feature.
I can honestly say that I hated the whole idea of Kinect on the 360. I thought it was terrible and useless.
I hated the idea that it was going to be included this time around, and I didn't really want it.
Now that I have it.
I admit I was wrong.
I was wrong. I see the point of having it. I surprised the crap out of myself by actually ENJOYING the use of voice commands. The fact that the system recognizes me and si...
OrangePowerz, your first point shows how biased you are towards Sony.
"One of the are the moving tiles depend on when you use them. Having a changing UI where things move around is poor usability."
Now let's put that in perspective. There are 4 tiles at the bottom of the Xbox One home screen that change and show your most recently used games or apps.
Meanwhile, on the PS4, the UI is basically divided between two rows of icons, ...
Not without you choosing to log in with your name and password. There is no possible way this thing could see some dude, and without anything else to go on, pick out who he was out of a million other users.
No way.
I'd say it worked pretty well. The ps4 has a little more horsepower under the hood but the XB1 does everything else better, plus a handful of things that the PS4 can't do at all.
I have both consoles. The PS4 is nice, but only the XB1 feels like a next gen EXPERIENCE.
DR3 frame rate is fine. Haven't seen it drop once.
I am guessing review copies weren't patched to the final version.
Yes because swapping between two things is exactly the same as having them both running simultaneously.
Inthelab have you used the ps4 UI at all? It's junk. That is why people say it feels rushed.
The XB1 as a user experience is light years ahead of ps4, just like the 360 was always ahead of the ps3. MS makes operating systems. That's what they do, and they are good at it.
Pretty sure I'll be streaming to twitch on my xb1 in a few months.
I'll be skyping on my ps4 never.
Now that I've seen how much better of an experience the One is, I won't be doing much gaming on my ps4 either. lol
If these people had their console running the tv already this couldn't happen. It can't turn on the xbox if it is already on, and I can't watch tv unless it is on, so this is a non-issue.
Try harder troll
Nobody with two brain cells to rub together is going to believe you.
You are insane.
Think about what you are saying.
Where did Microsoft get the info to pair up a visual image with this guy's account in the first place?
Let me guess, you're going to tell me that they have partnered with the government and paired user accounts with drivers license records, etc, right??
Do you really believe Kinect is THAT good??
You think that they can have a database of MILLIONS o...
Yeah I don't believe this for one second.
He's trying to say that somehow MS has a database that knows what he looks like and can sign him in without his name and password?? Yeah ok.
Seriously guys, there is no way this is real.
I hadn't even noticed that voice messages were missing. I never used them, so I was oblivious to their absence.
Weird.
PHANTOM DUST!!!!!
OMG, please make that happen... That game was as fun as any multiplayer game I've played. What a blast.
DR3 is an absolute blast, but if you didn't like 1 or 2, it's hard to recommend it.
If you have a co-op buddy I think you'd be crazy not to have fun with it, but that's just my opinion. I loved the first two games, by the way.
"Xbox On" is the only command I ever have trouble with. Something about the way it listens in the low power state must be different than how it listens while it is fully powered on.
I rarely have any other "regular" command not register, but that one only works about half the time for me. I'm hoping they can tweak the sensitivity on that one somewhere down the road, because being able to come home from work and just say "Xbox On" as I'm ...
Yeah I don't really care if anyone else likes it or not, but DirtyPimp is just a huge Sony troll, that was the point I was trying to make.
There is a lot of confusing misinformation going around about the Xbox One DVR.
You DO NOT need to snap the DVR app and tell it to start recording. It is always recording.
You only need to load it up when you want to end the clip and capture the previous 5 minutes. It's very quick and easy, and you never need to quit playing to do it.
For me, though, "Xbox Record That" is where I will be doing most of my game capture. I love...
