I have been hearing about this game's sidequests being totally amazing since before I started playing it. But I don't really see what's so much different from them over any other game?
The stories they tell are great, and the voice acting and characters are awesome and all of that good stuff. Let me make it clear that I am enjoying this game very much. I just don't see anything about the quests themselves that warrants all this talk about them being so uniq...

I'm in the beta and although I can't give any details I will say the game is really good at what it is.
Even if it's not a typical fable game, it's really good fun.

What he basically said is "We don't have a parity clause anymore, we just have this new thing without a name that works exactly like the parity clause used to work".
So maybe it isn't this thing that is written in stone, but they still try to enforce the same basic policy as always.

Just to clarify my earlier statement, I played for a few hours after that with no real issues.
At the time of that post I'd had numerous loading issues, and typed that post during a restart after an infinite loading screen, but after that everything seemed to go pretty well.
So maybe I just had an unlucky spell at first.

Horse is still terrible, too. Stopping all the time for no apparent reason.

You don't understand just how powerful it is.
It's so far above everything else that the game would be super easy if everything was brought up to equal it.
It's not that simple, unfortunately.
It doesn't matter if 10 million people want to see Red Dead or Skyrim, if they don't get the "OK" to do it, then it doesn't happen.

Watch Dogs was one of my favorite games last year. I loved it. I've replayed it a couple times, actually.
Just because the internet decided to hate it because the graphics weren't as good as what they first showed off didn't make the game any less fun to me.
The Order did look better. But...
Last I heard, The Order bombed and Sony dropped the developer because the game was so horrible.
You can keep your graphics if that is what the gameplay is like.

I guess I misinterpreted that, then.
I took all the praise being about the actual guts of the quest and the mechanics of what you were doing in them, not about the writing and story.
And I agree that it has all been really good so far in that regard.
