Sadly, it won't be as epic in the US.

It's not hard talking to them, understanding them is another matter.

Good to see some developers out there are thinking outside the box instead of a one way path.

It's too bad EA shut down Pandemic.

Imagine what happen if one of those dvd disc get scratch being unprotected and all.

My roommate watches Internet TV a lot. TV shack + megaupload premium = WIN.

I am still hoping for native mkv support.

You're not blind. What you need is high def, then you will see the 1 pixel thick line.

Funny, it was also made by IW. Wait a minute, I think I'm starting to see a trend...

And the lack of effort on IW's part. There is a reason why a lot of online games go through beta testing these days. Resistance 2, Warhawk, Mag, BFBC2, Halo 3, etc. A lot of the bugs/glitches/hacks can easily be iron out during beta which will follow by a QA. This is a common basic thing to do when you want a software to come out right (considering IW definitely had the money to do a beta test was what made it even more sad since not every dev out there can afford to do beta testing but would...

Agreed, I mean they already have millions of buyers. They don't earn money from the used game market. If their effort is anything like CoD4, expect them to do a whole lot of nothing.

At least they are making an attempt to do things right with gamers like a proper beta. Of course you can't fix everything but at least iron out bugs and have a better quality control.

CoD4 had plenty of hacks, you would think IW would be smart enough to throw out a beta first.

Does it really matter? All that happens is your account get bans and you make a new one. That's why they recommend making a new PSN just to do the hack.

Yeah, and I think another big contributing factor is how SE decided to use some random song and stick it in there oppose to an original song.

I personally would love to import but if it lacks english, I can't read nor understand japanese. I don't think I want to force my friends to sit next to me translating every small thing either.

That's why PC games are generally $10-20 cheaper than the console version. Heck, they even drop in price faster to $20 and below a lot faster because of that. That's why there was an outrage when Acti and IW decided that PC gamers should pay $60 for the PC version. There is no royalty fee just acti and iw being douche.

What I find more annoying is the lack of quality control on IW's part and consumers still flock to it with $60 in their hand.

Why waste time on talk when they can just continue being awesome?

6041d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm going to agree with Dark Tower here. It's not up to Sony to stop glitchers, it's IW's job. Is it MS or Sony's fault for IW doing a sloppy job at QA? No, and if MS and Sony are to keep gamers from glitches and bugs by ban/suspension, then it only makes the dev lazier about their work. If the devs know that the glitch will turn gamers off from playing, then if they are at least a decent dev, they will do something promptly.

According to Kotaku, Nintendo already began looking into this. Sony so far has no plans.

Anyway, the bluray version is a lot worse. I got Quantum of Solace on Bluray, and I thought I've been had. It's reeks fake and cheap all over but a quick google search showed me it's the eco (un)friendly case. I don't buy the no change in performance lies for one bit. You can clearly see a difference and how it doesn't hold up against a normal bluray case, so I can see how the DVD would be an...

Just because someone has nice stuff doesn't mean they are unbiased. Everyone has a preference, it's hard to be objective. I have relatives who have HD home theater setups, but I wouldn't trust their opinion for a second about what's better. I may not be able to afford a hd home theater set up as I'm still in college but I have a good deal of experience with HD set ups since I'm usually the friend that runs around with tech support and recommending gadgets/electronic.

In the end, ...
