It's in there, it was added a few firmwares back. Yeah, they really to push that feature. Gran Turismo 5 will have the in game video recording feature.
I don't think it's a lot of us. It feels hyped up and mostly 360 fanboys try to make it sound like it's important. I can live without cross game chat, it would be neat but totally not necessary.
Like I stated above, what I do want is mkv support.
They already have in game recording, it's just that most developers don't take advantage of that. As for cross game chat, I personally feel it's not necessary since I am focus on gaming, if I want to talk to my friends, I make time for them.
The one thing I do want is native mkv support. I do not like to convert and I want to be able to turn subtitles on and off.
It's really just SE becoming to greedy and trying to expand in the wrong way. They are so desperate to westernize and expand in the west that they fail to realize that the people who made them who they are don't like these changes.
Square Soft made changes for improvement. The jump from Nintendo to Sony was a decision to improve the gaming experience. If Nintendo had went with disc based games, who knows, maybe FF would still be primary on Nintendo console and the jump to have it...
It's annoying using converter, I've done it before but it's a lot more nicer and more useful than cross game chat to me. I much prefer subs that I can turn on and off also.
I don't think that's a good idea. Imagine if his gf did something he doesn't like, he'll probably punch her and cry.
This always happen especially with big titles. I always see them pop up all over about 1-2 weeks before release date. I don't even see why this is news, these kind of news only attract amateur pirates or busy pirates, most of the other pirates already knew.
Don't really care about Cross chat, I just want mkv.
Its a horrible decision that will have ZERO POSITIVE impact on sales.
Corrected.
I bet it's just item for avatars.
Do you go see a movie because just the plot alone is good or do you go see a movie for more than a plot such as the music, the acting, etc?
I can safely say the FF music is good enough that they hold big concert for them. They had one in Chicago last year. So for you to think the music is not important to a FF game, you are sadly mistaken.
It's not bluray that makes it hard. There are PS3 game rips floating around. The only thing bluray will be an issue for pirate is size and the cost for a disc. It's the software that they haven't hacked yet.
That's very disappointing to know. I really hope the Japanese version have english subs. SE keeps disappointing.
It's a single player game.
Dedicated servers and mods are a big part of the PC community. Would you give good review to a Ferrari running on a Prius engine?
What you're suggesting is that PC gamers should accept what IW and Acti is doing to the gaming community which is raping it. PC gamers pay less than console gamers because there is no license fee. Now they expect PC gamers to pay the SAME price as console gamers while taking AWAY features that should have been there in the first place. So for $10 more,...
Why that's simple. Sheeps and tools. They infiltrated game reviews and they are everywhere on this blog and other game blogs.
I say the better choice is to not support IW. It's obvious they think they are hot stuff and can do whatever they want especially to the PC community. Console gamers need to fight back like the PC gamers otherwise other devs and publisher will continue to hurt the consumers.
IW could have remained silent on that matter. Like the saying goes, it's better to be a fool and keep your mouth shut then to speak and remove all doubts.
You're obviously missing the point. A company does need to make money but a great company can make money and keeps their fan/customers happy. I know, a win win situation, scary isn't it? People only started criticizing Activision because all Activision was doing was making greed and hurtful move to the industry. If you look at EA, they've shaped up since 2007 because consumers complained. If you like getting rape by companies fine, but don't drag everyone down with you. A smart consumers know...
How old are you? 12? Honestly, as you get older, you learn to make time with your friends, and sometimes you don't want to spend every waking moment of your life chatting till dawn.
A lot of us have jobs, family, significant others, and do have friends. But I'm pretty sure some of us also like time to OURSELVES.
I personally don't feel the hype of this cross game chat, never did. But I can see it coming in handy but overall not of great urgency or usage at my end. MK...
