I understand what you're trying to say but you have to remember the PS3 caters to everyone. Yes, there will be people who think MAG is the type of game that you can easily go Rambo on. I don't think anyone needs to be master dev to figure out a good one from a bad one. There are enough game dev out there to make a reasonable argument that IW are just poor dev. Just like how you don't need to be a chef to taste a good dish from bad because you simply tried enough dishes in your life time to be able to tell good from bad.

Me personally, no. But I've heard stories about my cousin's friend losing friend because of WoW. My cousin's friend stop talking to him because he decided it was finally time to stop playing WoW. I also have a friend who lost a good deal of friends because of WoW but he stopped now. I hear a lot of stories of gamers losing friends but the 1 game that seems to causes people to lose friends is WoW. I would pick being with my friends over games almost everyday of the calendar.

I'm american and I see nothing wrong with his comment. If you can't make fun of yourself or take a joke about your flaws, then you'll never truly learn to do things right. This is why there are political cartoons. They are meant to poke fun at obvious problems.
You have to accept your flaws and problems before you can proceed to fix it. I personally feel there is no better way then with a joke.
The best comedians always seem to be able to make fun of themselves and sensitive subjects that many seem so compelled to never talk about. Not everyone thinks everything should be taken seriously all the time. Sometimes you point out the flaws and problems with a joke. It's call being lighthearted.
I don't think IW can truly fix the game with patches. Just like a building, if it's build on a weak foundation then no matter how many patches you put on it will hold it up.

I don't think gamers are jaded. Maybe some but overall, I think gamers have high standards or should have. Cod 4 had a lot of glitches and hacks also. That I would say most of us can let slide. Not patching it, pushing it. MW2 glitch and hack fest, now most of us should be able to confirm that IW are either lazy or not as good of a dev as we all were lead to believe. Honestly those who use the argument that there are only hacks because it's popular are too far lost. If that's the case, so many PS3 games would have hack saves but so far it's just Cod4 and MW2.
