Are you joking? None of those successful franchises have changed ANYTHING, except for MAYBE the angle of the already third person camera. Resident Evil took away the static camera angles for a behind the shoulder perspective. Metal Gear ADDED a first person view, but is still best played from third person. Splinter Cell has done absolutely nothing different. Street Fighter? Are you kidding? Nobody wants a Gears of Halo, don't fix it if it ain't broke.

In a demo limited to one map, one game type, and a limited weapon selection, having fun by strapping C4 to a speeding ATV isn't noobish, it's exploring the gamespace. If you can't enjoy something like that, you should be playing something else.

Did you...did you really not know this?

Actually, I'm pretty sure these are just direct feed versions of the shots (notice the 720p resolution of the shots) that all the magazines have, meaning they're probably still from the pre-Thanksgiving build.

I love my 360 as much as the next guy, but these shots make my brain hurt. Just too awesome.

Are you really bringing FF into this discussion about Ghostbusters - in Europe? I seriously doubt that the 360 version of FF is even stalling the PS3 version, as the game was already shown running on a 360, in English, with the set release dates for both being Spring 2010 if I'm not mistaken. Considering the fact that the Japanese version is just finishing up development, I seriously doubt PS3 users would've seen FF13 before Spring 2010 anyway.

Bottom line here is that everybody...

Are you really counting your 6th gear as 7th, since you're in a 6 speed manual with reverse? I'd say your wording is pretty "misleading" as well. Still a nice car though.

I thought this sounded familiar, anybody actually check the date out? This thing's nearly 6 years old.

But yeah, pretty terrible.

Looks like structures can be completely destroyed now! No more central frames to hide behind, hahaha.

So REMOVING the download limit on a beta that millions of people are trying to access, so they can, in fact, ACCESS it, makes them evil and money-loving? Hmmm.

I still don't see it in the US store, this makes me sad.

Not that it matters that much, but PS2 came out in 2000, and it's ALMOST 8 years old, not 9. The other poster was right about the long console lifespan, and you agreed with him but called him an idiot? Your post and it's formatting reek of fanboyism. Take it back over to the Open Zone where you can spout whatever nonsense you want.

You can say PC gaming "is and always will be superior" but plenty of games these days run in a native resolution of 1080p. These games aren't upscaled like Halo or COD4 or what have you, they're actually meant to play in 1080p, just like your PC games. I've got a monster rig, with games running in 1900x1200, and sure, some PC games look better, but it's coming down to texture resolution and not native game resolution. PC games have all the storage space in the world for textures (ta...

As a 3D artist, I have to inform you that you're quite wrong about it having no usefulness in the gaming industry. Those of us who model people and places for current software often need to have a level of photorealism in order for the assets to be acceptable for production, and to successfully unwrap footage of someone's body, or a face, for an artist to then manipulate and apply to an object/3d character, saves us an ENORMOUS amount of time. ILM has software similar to this, although instea...

That despite the lovely (and not so lovely) ladies contained in this gallery, the real winners are #91, and the character on the left in #213. One word - YES.
