How can you be criticizing it when you haven't even played it? All UnRated said was that the dev team worked hard for this, and it's pretty damn obvious they have - most of the kids on these forums have no idea what kind of work goes into making a game. Objectively, the game looks like a lot of fun, even if it is more of the same. Trolls need to find a new hobby.
The title IMPLIES that this GAMEPLAY SCREENSHOT, not the gameplay itself, looks like more of the same, and he would be correct - this screenshot from supposed gameplay DOES look like more of the same, good or bad. The title isn't even remotely misleading, if you actually know how to read.
This isn't the first article I've seen like this, as several people have complained about this business practice over the years. So, Microsoft changed the amounts you buy to equal what things cost. An item costs 800 MS Points, or the equivalent of $10. Go to add MS Points, lo and behold, you can actually buy just 800 points. Same goes for 1600 points for $20 purchases, or 400 points for $5 purchases. If you're still seeing 1200 point cards in a store, that's more than likely b...
With the Steam platform being as wildly successful as it is, I think you might be wrong about the "further away than you think" part. Sure, it might still be a bit of a ways off, but not nearly as far as you might think.
Still a little disappointed that they aren't continuing Tommy's story from where the first game left off.
Somebody obviously hasn't played an Xbox 1 game recently.

That whole EMP thing is still a huge plot hole - if the EMP had already hit, why were the elevators and doors still working? I know what they were getting at, and I still love me some Halo, but it's kind of a hard point to argue.
Anybody else tired of these same screens being touted as new?
Well, People Can Fly revealed their release date nearly 3 months before Guerrilla said anything about Killzone 3's release date, and Bulletstorm is multiplatform, so why would you bother changing the release date? It's entirely feasible that Bulletstorm will sell more copies just BECAUSE it's on both platforms.
To be clear, I enjoyed the demo, and I'll probably pick up the game for the full experience, but I'm still buying Killzone 3.
6 must be the new 10, since the game came out back in '04.
"It's the question no one really wanted an answer to."
...
Is this a question that anyone actually asked in the first place?
Comparing MGS3, with it's relatively small forest areas (of which only one was ever loaded at any one time), and wildlife that actually factored into gameplay (food), vs. an incredibly large, nearly sandbox style jungle world, complete with underwater environments and well fleshed out mountain interiors and buidings...it really feels like you're grasping at straws here. All things considered, MGS3 was great, and Crysis was also great. Not sure when the majority of you kids on here wil...
I think he meant 512MB video cards. But yeah, I've got zero problems playing anything on my 7 machine, with hack-less Nvidia drivers. Not sure what he's shooting at right there.
Just finished reading the article - did this guy totally ignore Final Fantasy XII as a game in the series? That came out in October 2006, so as bad as XIII was, I don't believe it fits on this list.
Actually, it's odd, but on the EA Store where you can pre-order this, I see no PS3 Nano Edition, just 360 and PC editions. What's the deal?
Actually, according to the individual listings on Gamestop.com, both the 360 and the PS3 version include the Plasma Cutter replica.
Criterion has an amazing track record of incredible Burnout games, and here they are making a reboot of the Hot Pursuit franchise, which might very well be the best of the series. That's considered milking/rehashing? You can stick with only buying "real games," which in MOST cases are exactly that - rehashes of existing games - while the rest of us non-ignorant folks can enjoy the best of both worlds. If your game collection is made up of nothing but original IPs with zero seque...
That graphic was made because 343 Industries is going to be Bungie's first victim for their Reach "Humpdays", where they take an afternoon to school some other company or gaming mag. It's traditional.
Yep, I'm brainwashed. Brainwashed into thinking that maybe I won't buy that extra 20 ounce bottle of (insert soda here) that one day this month so I can afford the extra $0.83 it's gonna cost me to play Live that month. Wait, the 20 ounce is $1.60? Holy crap, that's almost 2 months of extra Live cost! Bad economy or no, you kiddies need jobs. I could've afforded all this crap on my minimum wage job when I was 16 - the level of Microsoft/Sony/PC hate on this site (depending...

If you seriously think that roofing or mining or changing light bulbs, regardless of the environment, is harder work than creating bug-free, innovative, AAA software, then you must live a very sheltered life. Anybody can do manual labor, not everyone can have the talent or skill to create incredible games.
