This is absolutely untrue - you're essentially saying that games like the original Battlefield titles (1942, Vietnam, 2, 2042, etc.), which were multiplayer only titles, are exactly the same as the multiplayer mode in games like Halo, Killzone, etc. Those games split their dev team and resources to create those two separate modes. If Uncharted never focused on multiplayer, you'd end up with campaigns that have bigger and more detailed locations, and more OF them, even arguably longer ...
Very true, but hurting the used games industry only hurts companies like GameStop. It could be argued that GameStop is still necessary for the industry in its current state, but PS+ and GWG don't hurt the publisher nearly as much.
I'm sure the publishers get comparable compensation from Sony/Microsoft - it's really not that much different than Steam sales, you end up selling for cheaper, but at a much higher volume.
@ABizzel1
While it's true that Sony has been able to keep a large number of rumored titles under wraps, I find it a little hard to believe that Sony will have a great number of unannounced titles that will ALSO come out this year. I fully expect several reveals, but I'd wager that the majority of those reveals will be 2015 releases. Neither Sony nor Microsoft have a stellar track record of game reveal and release within the same calendar year. I'd be happy to be p...

Having managed to get two rounds in at PAX Prime this last summer, I can say there's absolutely nothing artificial or forced about the hype for this game. To call it simply COD with jetpacks is a complete disservice - it's more like a class-based FPS + Mechwarrior + Mirror's Edge (with the ability to jump higher). The cloud manages the additional AI that get added to (what were presented as) 5v5 matches, making the game seem like there was a much larger battle taking place - I hav...
Clearly not, this site has shifted from N4G to N4PSG over the last year or so. If you're a fan of XBox in any way, I recommend jumping ship.

"The "Competitor" 2.1 Million units in 48 hours"
Actually, Sony sold 2.1 million units in ~16 days (the period of time between 11/15 and 12/1, including the international market.)
I've read this comment over and over again, and I can't get past the lack of English comprehension in order to see the point you're trying to make.
@Insomnia_84 You must be delusional if you don't think that Sony will be selling your information too, one way or another. Any major company is gathering metrics on what players are playing what games, they'd be foolish not to - how do you think everything Sony markets has been so perfectly targeted lately? Stop painting one corporation like a bad guy, they're both guilty.
The best part is, at 1440p, for the absolute CHEAPEST, most garbage 1440p monitor, you could have purchased the game at full price, plus BF4 premium, plus a current gen console, and even a year's worth of Xbox Live if you were to go that route. All for the price of just your display.
These comparisons are dumb, as are the PC elitists who pause their beta play long enough to swing their hardware around like a giant tech-weenie. We know your hardware is superior. We know yo...
At 4GB RAM, you just barely hit the absolute MINIMUM memory requirement for BF4, not to mention that this is the 64-bit client. If you can't be troubled to have more than 4GB RAM in a gaming PC, I'm not entirely sure why you're expecting an optimized beta experience.
"This late in the game..."
For a game that doesn't come out for something like 8 months, I wouldn't call it late in the game. There's plenty of time to showcase an Xbox One build.
You can put 4GB in it, but Windows can only use 3.2GB of that. So he's technically correct.
You're right, nobody is going to buy an HD remake of a game from 10 YEARS AGO unless it's released in a free update.

I understand that this guy just got this game through the Humble Bundle, but BF3 came out nearly two years ago - nothing has changed with Battlelog, and if anything, it's a strong component of BF4. This is old, old news, and it's not going anywhere.
N4G, using the Disagree button as a Dislike button since at least 2007. Have an "upvote".
That bandwagon is getting pretty full, be careful not to fall off.
MAG released at $60.
