If it's like CQ, then it'll only be a 1 week difference.
Actually, there will be a theatrical trailer for the game that will be attached to various films starting on 7/27, so you'll be able to see the trailer that is the subject of this "making of" video on the big screen.
@shutUpAndTakeMyMoney
So wait, you're defending Sony by saying you're going to enjoy an indie-developed game, owned by nobody, available exclusively on a Microsoft-produced OS? I'm confused.
While I agree that work would have to be put in for animations, I have one response for your argument about the fun in shooting dinosaurs.
But if you read it on the Internet,it's GOTTA be true, right?
There was no "trickery", and they were completely forthcoming about what system that demo was played, so I'm not sure why'd you assume anyone was tricked - and if they were tricked, they're probably flat out delusional. And please, continue to support reboots and sequels, since you clearly have no love for new IPs. The world needs more COD/Splinter Cell/Halo/Assassin's Creeds/GTA/Insert-name-of-game -on-iteration-6+.
Not a single mention of Watch Dogs? Disappointing.
@big-bertha
"Sony had the PS3 ready way before the Xbox 360, perhaps back in 2000."
Wow, Sony had new hardware ready to go before the ORIGINAL Xbox came out? Hell, they had PS3-level hardware just lying around when they released PS2 for the first time?
Excuse me, I'll have some of what this guy is smoking, it must be FANTASTIC.
If they've manipulated you into not buying it, then please, don't buy it. The Halo community is much better off without dinosaurs like yourself.
Also, based completely on videos of Halo/COD/BF/Killzone/Insert-ge neric-shooter, I could also ascertain that all of these games probably play exactly the same. It isn't until I actually PLAY the game that I realize there's a difference. But of course, you've OBVIOUSLY played it, and all of it's modes, and I s...
Your comment makes no sense in light of the size of this map - it's already been revealed to be the largest map in the history of the series. Either a "pilotable" AC-130 would work or it wouldn't, size of the map being irrelevant.
Inevitable disagrees, but if you guys are hoping that a current-gen console version of this game is going to look as good as the demo shown this week, you're in for a disappointment.
It's Unreal Engine 3, 100% guarantee that it will come to current consoles with a visual downgrade. Doubtful on a PS4 port, IMO, although I won't claim to know much about these things.
Something about the way this preview was written leads me to believe the author doesn't much care for the Halo series - I can't quite place my finger on it. Either way, decent write up, and to each his own, obviously.
Yes please, we'd like some more generic looking bounty hunters with no faces or character. The Star Wars galaxy would be much better off with countless Boba Fett clones in various colors and wrist mounted weaponry.
/sarcasm
So why does Blizz keep buffing the talents they want you to use? Just because they don't force you to a build doesn't mean that you can't use a build - you're an idiot not to.
Please, point me in the direction of news or interviews revealing actual COD-style killstreak rewards, and supposedly unbalanced weapon/ability loadouts. Sprint isn't new - only the ability to have it on at all times is, and that is a welcome feature. Playing a Spartan has never actually felt like playing a Spartan, canonically, because of how slow the player moves without some special enhancement. Loadouts aren't new, they existed in Reach, and I haven't seen anything stating tha...
You assume that Halo is turning into COD based on word of mouth, interviews that merely attempt to describe a feature without giving away the actual content, and absolutely zero video or gameplay evidence?
Shame on YOU.
"The graphics alone are rivaled only by diablo 2......which is sad lol."
Bye bye credibility, you don't have it anymore (did you even have any to start with?)
Gonna be a good Tuesday.
I'm still waiting for the article titled "How Video Games "Journalism" Is Ruining Games."
