Does anyone find it odd that 4/5 of the Reach screen are taken from multiplayer, where the graphics are usually stepped down and emptier looking? Compared to the Black Ops screens, which appear to be completely from Campaign? I know it's hard to find Campaign shots for Reach, but this comparison would be a little more valid looking at either both campaigns or both multiplayer game modes.
Fail troll is fail.
Aside from your clear anger issues, I have to point out two glaring errors in your response:
1.) There is no kill cam in Hardcore mode, you are very sadly mistaken.
2.) Spotting in Hardcore is only useful if you back out to look at the map, which makes you a sitting duck of a target (Hardcore mode removes the onscreen map.)
And while you're right, it's not technically glitching, I seriously doubt that the devs wanted you to get up on top of s...
Surprised they didn't have this one in there:

All 3 "clans" are completely available for multiplayer, and seeing as how Starcraft 1 shipped with full mp and 30 missions, and this has full mp and 26-30 missions (anyone have the confirmed final number?), you're getting what would be considered a "full game" by content standards.
Additionally, the two expansions that add the other campaign missions will be priced as expansions and not full games, so really, if you expect to pay $50-60 for what could ...
BS in Computer Science, but I'm also a huge Halo nut, books and memorabilia and all that - Reach is absolutely my most anticipated game this year, right next to Starcraft 2.
However - in this case, there's really no need to feed the troll. Seems they're always hungry around here...
I love my 360, but I lol'ed. =)
That's weird, I could've sworn the makers of Dead Space were making Dead Space 2, also coming out in Spring 2011.
Also, as a side note - the makers of Dead Space are owned by EA, and EA != Activision.
This just in: Video games are fake.
Really? You guys can see all that model and texture detail in a low res, compressed video? You'd think that all the sensible minded "gamers", and I use that term loosely, had gone the way of the dinosaur - obviously you can't see crap for graphics quality in anything less than a direct feed trailer in HD, and even then, you'd still be missing the same graphics fidelity that you'd get while actually PLAYING the game. Sure, the game could come out and be a much less impressive game th...
What I said was 720 LINES, as in scan lines, of horizontal resolution, which is correct. It also means 720 PIXELS of vertical resolution. So I think we're both correct in thought.
Plus bubbles for you!
My argument, if you knew how to read, was that the DEFINITION of HD, at least by the army of blatantly ignorant fanboys on this site, is 720p, and that the footage was estimated to be IN 720P. So, if 720p is NOT HD, then change your damn definition.
I often comment on these stories, and am dumbfounded by the level of hate and ignorance rampant from both sides of each of these arguments. When any of you who call yourselves "gamers" relies on a "OMG GAME X DOESN'T R...
Didn't know I should be expecting to see a rock solid and locked in 30 FPS from internal alpha footage. Guess I should notch up my expectations of perfection in all alpha stage games!
I think you're in need of an education. 720p clearly means 720 lines of horizontal resolution, regardless of the vertical lines of resolution. The argument against Halo 3 was that it ran in 640p, but by your defintion, it wasn't even in 640p if there weren't 1280 lines of vertical resolution. If you want to continue to define "TRUE HD" as 720p, then you're going to need to readjust your definition. Look it up, or better yet, finish school and then you can open your mouth again.
How are you pulling HL2 Episode 1 and 2 level design from less than 90 seconds of random gameplay video? Nothing about this footage looks like ANYTHING from Half Life, unless you're counting the "I'm a dude shooting a gun from first person" feature - quit grasping at straws.
That's funny, I could've sworn the article said the measurable edges pointed towards 720p, guess I misread that.
"While overall capture quality of the clips is low even in Bungie's own HD version, there are plenty of edges to measure and all of them seem to point towards a native resolution of 1152x720 for the new engine - a significant upgrade over Halo 3's 1152x640."
Oh, right, there it is. Last I checked, my TV's display told me that Killzone 2 was ALSO...
If you have your code still, it tells you to visit www.darksiders.com, there's some info on the front page right there. Just redeemed mine, one of the best bonuses I've seen with a game purchase, hahaha.
I'm sorry, do you really think that Bungie would put up "prerendered" 1080p screens, while providing these external sites with 1024x576 versions of the same screens as if they were the real resolution? That makes absolutely zero sense. Even Halo 3 was higher res than 1024x576 - as with previously released assets for Reach, it's more than likely that websites are receiving lower res versions of the media, while Bungie keeps the higher res media on their own site. Even previous screen...
