Huh? It wasn't any longer than C1.

The maps are smaller as well.

There's just 1 reason to buy that game..

Buy if if you REALLY want it regardless of what other people think.

@DeathMetal1474

I hope you don't get me wrong.

It's still a decent game all things considered.

It still carries the gameplay of "multiple ways" to reach each goal (cloak or gung-ho).

@DeathMetal1474

The maps are far more cramped.

The verticality fails to give an illusion that it's comparable to the "vastness" of C1 and Warhead.

The maps are so small and cramped that using the single regular SUV is useless. In C1 there were segments at least "wanting" you to use vehicles

The bosses are unsatisfying the way the story fails to "bring up tension" for them.

With the leak, there's also several Crysis fans turned off on how it has become "consolized". And NO it's not graphics.

It's not all positive, lovey dovey effect you know.

Why would THEY give you more of a chance to pull back your pre-orders w/ a seriously buggy, unstable and FULL SP campaign.

More of a chance for LOSING customers.

I can't deny that I am not interested to see it in real 3D in a top tier PC with

DX 11
maxed out settings
some AA and
DownSampled

The Nvidia 3D surround would hopefully work well.

Too bad I am a poor poor man.

I think if someone had that setup, he'd literally blow his brains own due to the best in game visuals and presentation mankind has to offer just yet.

Most photo realistic and fun FPS shooter just yet :)

Too bad the SP map sized were gimped..

almost no vehicles..
no secondary objectives...
and almost no bosses..

At least Crysis fans know what they're getting:

-smaller maps
-barely any vehicles
-no tension build up for new enemies
-barely any bosses due to "no proper introduction"
-no secondary objectives

+increase in color palette
+popular setting
+a degree of upped visuals

What to blame?

Goodluck with the MP.

Can't wait for the Matrix! 30 more years perhaps?

And yet we still have the BEST looking multi plats :) (with recent rigs ofc).. comfort with M/K or even a contemporary controller.

(there's some exclusives too like Witcher and SC2)

I don't mind at all.. specially that there's a billion more fun things to do and is just an ALT+TAB away xD >:)

I sure hope it isn't as "corridor" as it looks.

If so, I hope the PC version has wider area like the previous games.

I really don't wanna blame the consoles if they really would help CryTek get more capital for another one but at the same time I feel like blaming PC piracy and console limitation if Crysis 2 would just be another "corridor" shooter :(

a few more weeks >:) We'll know for sure.

Played the PC version.

It's decent and all but not "amazing" graphics-wise. A lot of textures are sub par. But hey the game is dark so they can fool you even when using sub par textures. Can't blame them too much for being "efficient".

At least we have a PC version.

DoF and Motion Blur and Blur are limited to cutscenes, other interactive scenes and "monster grabs". It sucks.

DS1 had bette...

Cool.. New engines.. being forced by CryTek perhaps? (even indirectly) xD

It will create a "better" niche for the handheld market but for graphics cutting edge tech, it needs to be housed in a bigger device and a wall socket.

LOL evolving graphics, physics and computational power will still reign supreme on "static" home consoles. (PC at times paving the way.. too bad gaming devs dropped a lot of support for it in comparison to console support.. they have their reasons)

I bet the next gen consoles will have Augm...

LOL I applaud KZ makers for creating KZ2 and KZ3.. making a fictional and atmospheric visuals for the game. It's far from being photorealistic like Crysis (or Crysis 2).

BUT, creating such is a feat itself.. something "artificial" yet looking so fantastic and amazing (different planet, different "atmoshpere"). Guess what, it's even on a 4+ year old hardware (at least)!

At least people who enjoy visuals have the option: something m...

OFC they "can"! But will they? That depends on the price. It's sure to have good games anyway.

At least the Author was kinda objective.

Too bad he failed to emphasize that with the NGP has a new major target as well: Casual gamers.

Other than the 2nd nub for us "core" gamers. What do you think the backpad, multi touch main screen, gyro, accel, cameras and augmented reality capabilities are for?

*semi-face palm*

But hey.. if you're happy with Pokemon, Zelda, Mario and cooking mama.. I doubt NGP'd be yo...

MAXIMUM REQUIREMENT! LMAO xD

Meh.. i hope crytek is right about Crysis 2 being more efficient the Crysis 1 (I think Crysis 1 only used up to 3 cores only).

I hope I don't have to retire my 4870 512mb yet :D I am still having fun with Assassin's Creed 2 on 1080p, 8X AA and drops only to about 25FPS at the worst. Usually playing at 30+ FPS.

I'd be getting the 7K series or 6XX series on Q3 2011 though.
