VR sucks for you. You are not the world.
The only one who has a chance to make VR mainstream is Sony. VR on PC right now is for the hardcore PC loyalist willing to pay lots of money.

I already own a PS camera and a Move controller so I am ready to rock. I just want to know the price and what other uses apart from gaming does PSVR has.

This by no means are official numbers. It is a company making an estimate of other companies sales. We know official numbers, at least by Sony, and there is an obvious reason why Microsoft is embarrassed of talking about their numbers.

One thing is having money and another thing having a successful product in the market. Nintendo has money but they are not successful in the console market. When people say "save Nintendo" they are not refering to money, is about their position in the console market. For how long do you think you can make unsuccessful products in the market without loosing money? Nintendo needs a successful console in the market. If they fail again they must stay in the handheld market then.
I played some levels of the first one and then I lost interest. This game is not for everyone. I don't know if the new game will introduce new Gameplay and mechanics. Maybe it can be better than the first one but this game is definitely not on my most anticipated games list.
Is obviously not a hit but is a nice to have for some people.
Will buy when the patch arrives. The theme looks very good.

Another good PS4 console exclusive game! Looks so beautiful and I am glad is receiving good reviews as The Witness. Can't wait to play it tomorrow.
If they make this game on VR, they are going to dominate the VR market lol.
Compared to last gen, the xbox One is doing better than the xbox 360 but not than the PS3. That is really sad. Sony really hit the ball this generation and with PSVR releasing this year, there is simply no competition for them on the console market.
Microsoft should talk about their plans for VR but I am afraid the reason they don't have any is because the xbox One cannot handle a proper VR solution.

In general, xbox consoles have always fallen short no matter if you as an individual think is doing good.
Hopefully is 1080p and 60fps on PS4 with more content a variety.
That many copies at $9 is not very good news. Now if all those copies were at $60 then that was something big.
