MS should be aware that after this there is no turning back for the xbox brand. Fail at this and the damage done to the Xbox brand will be very high (already damaged by the DRM and always online fiasco) and will probably be the end of xbox.

Nope. There is a reason the console market is still present as today and that is because of the nature of it. Trying to put upgradable hardware, like SEGA and Nintendo tried and failed miserably, will put your product out of the console realm and will make it just a customizable PC which bet the question... why invest on an upgradable xbox when you can do exactly the same with a PC and with more benefits?

PSVR is the VR device that I want but I need to know the price. Thank God I have a move controller already.
Nintendo has an opportunity here to comeback to the console market with a strong console, good third party support and online service. They can take the second position in the console market if they do it right.
The reason is the cross play feature present on PS4 and Steam.

First of all let's talk about the hypocrisy of the Xbox community. The same community that has always critized the upgrading troubles of PC and being one of the main reasons to have a console now says that they want to have on Xbox the same thing that they critized on PC. Wow.

Sorry but Sega was a more honorable competitor than MS. They didn't refuse to give sales number, they did not pretended that power doesn't mattered or that exclusives didn't matter.

Hololens does not has the support that most of the industry is giving VR but I believe is a good tech for non gaming purposes.
Do you remember all the plans that Microsoft had with the xbox one? DRM, 24 hours online check, trade in and all that other stuff? Did those plans worked?
One thing is what these companies want and another what the consumer wants. As evidenced by the x1 fiasco where MS had to drop all their plans, these companies will follow the final word of the consumer. Period.
If some people here cannot deal with a 2 weeks delay and are making such a drama dilema, I don't know how they deal with everyday life stuff.
