Sounds like me with Tales of Symphonia. All of those different save files dedicated to different objectives. Can't say I hit 1700 hours on it though. Probably more like 6-700. Game on friend. If only everyone could have a game that they loved so much.
There's not a game out there right now that my hopes are higher for.
That's the basic idea behind this game.
there was a race between PS3 owners and 360 owners to see who'd have bragging rights over which console sold the most. The simultaneous release shows an understanding of the market. I give them props, even though I don't personally feel that the game should have scored so high across the board.
A nice tactic to try and get a feel for how many pure underground core gamers are excited about this game. It has a nice little reward, so I have no complaints.
Was it Valhalla?
This is just like Nintendo complaining about 6-7 million Super Mario Galaxy copies being sold as "Less than expected". SMG couldn't have cost more than 10 million to make, and that figure is probably far more than it actually cost. Figure in that they've made more than a quarter of a billion off of it, that the game has helped sell even more profitable consoles, and these kind of statements are just downright offensive. Even if somehow Nintendo only gets 100 million of that as profi...
What a let down...
If they could trust the mainstream community, then we'd have this too. As long as they come up with something though. I'm not deleting or downloading another game until they fix this mess. And I want to play Mega Man 9!
That is only yet another example of our arrogance and pin hole view here in America. We're about the only country left that doesn't hold the metric system in first regard.
Seriously, I'm embarrassed sometimes by my country. We always have to view things from a point of view so strongly set forth by our own culture that the rest of the world shakes its head. We always act as if what we like is the best, and everyone else should fall in line, while simultaneously belittling things ...
Twisted.
You're a hater.
He proved you right? How so? You said: "MH is based on its online, and if you have the worst online experience of the 3 current consoles, then you're going to have the worst online play possible."
Since MH got its online base on a console with less than or equal to ability as the Wii what you said makes no sense. We all would like a better experience than what was available 3 years ago, and the truth is, with what information we've been given today, and the online compe...
The more I see of this game, the more fun it looks.
...that we wish it WAS Earthbound. :)
You know very well, that even though this site is called News for Gamers, it allows for articles that are opinion pieces, entertainment pieces, and manufactured talking points such as this one. Yes, some people might get offended by the idea of Jesus playing video games, but this is hardly a desecration or sacrilege.
I swear... This place would be alot less hostile, offensive and self righteous if people would walk on past the things they don't like rather than open the door and ...
Some of those levels were absolutely murderous though!
Just the mention of the Good Egg Galaxy brought a smile to my face. SMG was an instant classic.
Imagine getting owned by Jesus on CoD4 or some equivalent.
Too funny.
I think that alot of the people who claim that the PS2 had graphics like this must be thinking of certain cut scenes, not actual gameplay graphics. PS2 had absolutely nothing that looked this good.
